We are happy to present you with this youth exchange project, “Jack O’lantern Jamboree”, happening in France this October for 2 weeks, where you will be able to:

– Experience 2 weeks in intercultural collective life that will culminate in a epic Halloween event!

– Develop your sense of initiative and discover different artistic fields where you can shine

– Test different roles, tackle professional anxiety and increase your self-confidence

– Develop your ability to work in an autonomous and also in a cooperative way

– Connect with the local community.

Step 1, Build the Team : Over the first few days you’ll get to know each other and build a group in a fun and dynamic way. You’ll have a space to discuss about youth professional challenges with your peers.

Step 2, Choose your Art : Cooking, theatre, and decoration ateliers. Digital design for flyers and social media posts. Experiment and decide which form of expression pleases you the most.

Step 3, Taking action : Divide into amazing international teams, create and prepare the activities, food and decoration for this awesome Halloween event.


IMPORTANT
Obligatory pre-departure meeting: to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

This is learning program funded by Erasmus+ programme.
That requires commitment. You will be asked to organize a follow-up activity after the program.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.
Get to know all provided information in the info letter before you submit your applications.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.

Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: number EUR per person.
Participation donation: given in cash upon arrival at registration in place. This amount is an investment in your learning and supports the hosting organization’s local activities.

Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 20 EUR /40 leva/ from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
