ПРОЕКТЪТ
Проектът има за цел да използва многоезичието като инструмент за насърчаване на междукултурния диалог. Искаме да създадем физическо пространство, където доброволците да се срещат с местни младежи и да ни помогнат да изградим по-толерантно и приобщаващо общество в Амантеа.
Цели на проекта:
Проектът се организира от „The Convent Centre of Language & Art“ – културно сдружение и школа по чужди езици.
„Convent Centre“ насърчава дейности, които развиват езиковите и културните компетенции.
Провеждат се ежедневни курсове за всички възрасти, както и работилници за деца и възрастни, чиято цел е да улеснят запознаването им с чуждите езици чрез неформални методики.

Амантеа е очарователен и слънчев град, разположен в регион Калабрия на брега на Средиземно море. Той е най-големият търговски и туристически център в района. В града има множество услуги и атракции.
Доброволците ще бъдат настанени в „Casa Convent“ – апартамент, разположен над CONVENT CENTRE на ГЛАВНИЯ ПЛОЩАД на града (Piazza Cappuccini).
Има две единични стаи (напълно обзаведени) и всички необходими удобства.

THE PROJECT
The project aims to use multilingualism as a tool to empower intercultural dialogue. We want to create a physical space where volunteers meet local youngsters and help us to build a more tolerant and inclusive society in amantea.
Project objectives:
The project is organized by The Convent Centre of Language & Art a cultural association and foreign languages school.
Convent Centre promotes activities that empower linguistic and cultural competences.
Daily courses for all ages are delivered, together with workshops for kids and adults that aim to facilitate their approach to foreign languages using non-formal methodologies.

THE ACCOMMODATION
Amantea is a charming and sunny town situated in Calabria Region by the Mediterranean Sea. It is the largest commercial and tourist centre in the area. There are numerous services and attractions in the town.
Volunteers will stay at Casa Convent, a flat located above CONVENT CENTRE in the MAIN SQUARE of the town (Piazza Cappuccini).
There are two single rooms (fully furnished) and all the necessary facilities.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by the ESC program: accommodation, food, materials, the program and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 275 EUR per person and 320 EUR per person for green travel
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 30 EUR from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
