Hello people !
Here we are, the 3 months of volunteering have ended !
These 3 months have been a really great experience for me, it helped me get out of my classic days ! It has also helped me a lot with my way of thinking ! It also make me rethink about where and how I wanna live my life.
In short it has been a really helpful place to be isolated from the noise of the city but still living in a community which makes you exchange thoughts and be a better person.
We learned together how to communicate with each other, how to work in a team and that a lot of things are made possible by doing it in a team !
I will never forget about the sunset and playing volleyball outside with everyone a lot of good memories that will stay in my mind !
From all I said I think rediscovering hobbies that I liked was my biggest self-improvement. Now that I’m coming back to France I will continue playing music, going on hikes and reading outside!
Letting me have the opportunity of being a team leader for the last 3 weeks when we got 15 more people joining us was also a strong experience that still makes me think about how to lead people without being the annoying guy ! Still some improvement to make for this !
The connection made with the other volunteers but also the villager is something that will stick with me and I won’t forget it.
It created unforgettable memories.
I’m sure I’m forgetting a lot of things in this recap but that’s what happens when you do a lot of different things in a small amount of time !
In the end I also wanted to thank Smokinya for this opportunity and for making it smooth !
