We are happy to tell you about the project “Common ground” in Italy!

The main activity of the project is a training course aiming at facilitating dialogue and exploring conflict resolution in organizations. The aim is to raise awareness of interpersonal and group dynamics in a work context such as that of the youth worker, providing tools for healthy conflict management.

Target group:

The profile of the participants correspond to youth workers that cooperate with youth organizations and who are willing to share the learnings of the project at local level, with their teams: this will be an important part of the dissemination.

Follow-up activities:

The organization and implementation of at least 5 local or online events, 1 in each local community where the participants of the projects are active, that involve local organizations in some workshop based on the topic of the project, and in the planning of coordinated actions in cooperation.

Methodology:

The training program includes a daily exploration of what makes teams work effectively, based on Patrick Lencioni’s model. Through non-formal education, which includes experiential approaches, practical activities, role-playing, and group discussions, methods and ways of solving the challenges of working in teams will be explored.

By the end of the training course, participants will have acquired the tools to work in a team in which trust, conflict, commitment, accountability and results guide day-to-day project management and youth work.
