About the Project:
LevelUp aims to enhance creative and engaging mentoring and coaching skills for those who support long-term volunteers. Together, we will address the emotional and intercultural dimensions of mentoring, practice balancing values and strengthen motivation through curiosity, empathy and adaptability.
We are looking for motivated young people from EU-COUNTRIES who:
- Already working with long-term volunteers as buddies, mentors,
trainers, facilitators, group leaders, etc. - Involved in the field of IVS (volunteering, staff, board member, etc.),
preferably through an organisation that is a member/partnerin
CCIVS,Alliance and/or SCI. - Based in an EUProgramme Country.
- Committed to actively participate in all phases of the project.
- Excited about improving the IVS experience and its outcomes for
(future) participants. - Minimally 18 years old by the 18th January 2026.
- Able to speak sufficient English to be able to express yourself
during the training as well as the (online) evaluation afterwards.
Participants with fewer opportunities are highly encouraged to apply.
IMPORTANT
Obligatory pre-departure meeting: to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

This is learning program funded by Erasmus+ programme.
That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 309EUR/417 EUR[Green Travel] per person.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 30 EUR from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
