Waves of Guiding is a training program focused on personal and professional growth for people who work with others (trainers, coaches, youth workers, etc.). It’s all about improving how you guide and support others by first looking closely at yourself.
What’s it all about?
– To explore your own patterns, motivations, and boundaries.
– To practice self-coaching tools to gain more resilience in the face of challenges.
– To learn ways to create more impact when working with people (especially youngsters).
– It’s a hands-on experience that blends practical exercises with deeper personal reflection.
Who can join?
– Ages 24 to 28 (active in partner organizations or their networks – can be found in the infosheet).
– Fluent in English (you’ll need this for the full experience).
– Actively working with others, especially young people (so you can directly use and test these tools).
– Ready to show up fully – This is not therapy, and it demands active participation.
Timeline and structure
– Pre-learning – You’ll connect with the group and topic online before the event.
– Arrival day – 10 April (by 18:00).
– Training program – 10 April (evening) – 16 April (ends around 20:00).
– Departure day – 17 April.
– Follow-up – Organize a local event back home between May–June 2025 to share what you learned.
IMPORTANT
Obligatory pre-departure meeting: date, time, place – to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

This is learning program funded by Erasmus+ programme.
That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.
Get to know all provided information in the info letter before you submit your application form.
Apply only when you know you want to participate and you have the dates of the training available.
Travel reimbursement is only sent to those who fully participate in all phases, including the follow-up and dissemination.
General applications are disregarded.
COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 309 eur per person for standart travel, 417 eur for green travel.
Participation donation: 75 EUR given in cash upon arrival at registration in place. This amount is an investment in your learning and supports the hosting organization’s local activities. If you choose to travel Green, there will be no participation donation.
