This is a learning program. It requires full focus and participation. 
Travel reimbursement is only sent to those who fully participate in all phases, including the follow-up and dissemination. This is not a vacation! The training will have no aspect of sightseeing or cultural trips!

Hello all! We have an exciting new opportunity to share with you. BRNO Connected is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) active in the field of non-formal education, personal development, and volunteering, both on the local and international level.

This coming March, they will be holding a basic synergy training course, led by Katka Martínková and Marija Wazi.

This course is designed to support youth workers and youth leaders in their roles and leadership skills. In the world, we face many issues and challenges. BRNO recognizes that and wants to equip youth leaders with strong leadership skills to support young people and colleagues, fostering independence, initiative, and self-confidence. This training consists of highly experiential, non-formal, and hands-on activities and processes.

Topics covered in this training include:

  • Self Awareness
  • Communication and cooperation
  • Self confidence
  • Giving and receiving feedback
  • Respect for differences
  • Setting vision and goals
  • Decision making
  • Embracing Unpredictability
  • And more!

This training is made for people who:

  • Are attracted to self-development and the topic of the training
  • You are 18+ years old
  • From Czech Republic, Italy,Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania or Spain
  • Are a youth worker (educator, volunteer, mentor, coach,
    trainer..), NGO staff (NGO manager or colleague, leader, office
    staff…) or representative of formal education (teacher,
    assistant at school,..
  • You are physically and mentally ready to take on 10 – 12 hours per day of programme (including meals and breaks)
  • You are highly motivated and willing to actively participate in
    the whole training programme

  • You are able to work in English

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered.

Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 309 EUR per person.
Participation donation: 50 EUR given in cash upon arrival at registration in place. This amount is an investment in your learning and supports the hosting organization’s local activities. If this is difficult for you, contact BRNO and you may be able to set up an individual agreement.

Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 30 EUR from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
