“Youth Guide” offers intensive program of 9 days that is designed for youth workers who want to empower both themselves and those they work with. This experience challenges you to step beyond your comfort zone, expand your creativity, and achieve results that may have felt out of reach before. Throughout the program, you’ll explore topics like automatic behaviors, inclusion, cooperation, belonging, and personal roots.
With combination of non-formal, experiential learning and challenging personal development exercises, the program can help you bring your values into everything you do. The depth of value you gain from the program depends on your full
commitment, active participation, and openness to a specific approach.
This is not only a training – it’s your chance to grow your skills, connect with what matters to you and make a real difference. Are you ready for it?
Participants Profile:
– Can communicate and work in English effectively
– Are over 18 and feel drawn to the topic, finding it relevant to your growth
– Resident of : Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Spain
– Work as a youth worker, educator, volunteer, mentor, coach, trainer, or teacher
– Physically and mentally prepared to engage in 10-15 h of activities each day, (incl. breaks)
– Committed, highly motivated, and ready to actively participate throughout the entire program
IMPORTANT
Obligatory pre-departure meeting: to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

This is learning program funded by Erasmus+ programme.
That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 23 EUR per person.
Participation donation: 50 EUR given in cash upon arrival at registration in place. This amount is an investment in your learning and supports the hosting organization’s local activities.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 20 EUR /40 leva/ from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
