Context
This project aims to address the need for more structured and effective project design in youth work. Many projects struggle to achieve their intended outcomes because they lack clear objectives, logical structure and a focus on measurable results.
This training course is designed to bring together 27 participants from 9 European countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Spain.
Project objectives
Participants will learn about:
– Empowerment through knowledge. This training is about more than just learning how to plan projects. It’s about gaining a way of thinking that helps you turn ideas into reality. The same principles that make a strong project -having a clear purpose, planning wisely, and aiming for real impact- can also guide you in many other parts of life and work.
– Building skills. Participants will learn simple but powerful tools to design projects that make sense, create change and last. Methods like Results-Based Management (RBM) and Theory of Change (ToC) are not only useful for project planning -they also help in problem-solving, decision-making and creating a vision for the future.
– Project design reimagined. This course is an invitation to see project design as more than a technical skill. It is a mindset you can use anywhere -whether you’re starting an initiative, leading a team or working toward personal goals. By learning these principles, you don’t just design better projects -you design better paths forward.
Accomodation
During the youth exchange, participants will stay at LE SORGENTI Centre which provides accommodation in rooms for 3 or 4 people with private bathrooms. The basic equipment like sheets, blankets and towels will be provided. There’s on-site kitchen with fresh meals provided by kitchen team. Outdoor areas for reflection and connection, the rooms for working sessions are also based inside the complex.
Part of Le Sorgenti Centre serves as a recovery centre for people with addictions, for this reason, no alcohol is allowed on the territory of the facilities.
