From dots to lines | Training course in Italy

We are looking for 3 participants
ABOUT THE PROJECT
– “From dots to lines” project exemplifies collaboration among unique individuals.
– Aims to train young youth workers in creating social inclusion through experiential learning.
– Participants engage in hands-on workshops for inmates, focusing on beekeeping.
– Involves 9 partners working for concrete change in their local communities.
– Seeks to build dialogue systems among young people, associations, and local entities.
– Aims to raise international awareness about social inclusion and active participation.
– Focuses on youth workers, active volunteers, and marginalized youth.
– Aims to create a common strategy for planning activities and sharing innovative practices.
– The project will serve as a model for implementing actions in other communities.
ELEMENTS OF ACTIVITY
– Training course based at San Francesco family home in Castagnetoli, Mulazzo.
– Accommodation provided in a communal house surrounded by greenery.
– Shared rooms and bathrooms; trained dogs and cats on the property.
– House belongs to the Papa Giovanni XXIII Association, assisting those with socio-cultural disadvantages.
– House hosts scouts, pilgrims, travelers, and international youth.
– Rustic stone and wood structure with a magical atmosphere.
– Group will explore the Lunigiana territory, weather permitting.
– Meals prepared using local ingredients, focusing on ethical and traditional cuisine.
– Predominantly vegetarian diet during the training course.
– English is the primary language, and a B2 language proficiency level is required.
TARGET GROUP
– Youth workers aged 18+ collaborating directly with the association or its local partner associations.
– Expert youth workers in specific areas such as art, theatre, social, and intercultural skills.
– Youth worker actively engaged with individuals with fewer opportunities in their activities.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: number 275 per person.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 20 EUR /40 leva/ from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
