We at Smokinya are glad to share with you a new volunteering opportunity in Croatia! The Carpe Diem organisation is looking for new European Solidarity Corps volunteers to join their organization from August 2025 till June 2026.

A. Activity for inclusion
Inclusion of the children from immigrant families in the local community, digital and non-formal education, youth work and culture.
What to do: Playing interactive and educational games with children, helping them develop digital and language skills through non-formal education methods, organizing workshops about intercultural topics, social inclusion and art.
B. Youth Centre activities
Interests and needs of youth in the local community, digital and non-formal education applied to youth work, intercultural, international and European values.
What to do: Preparing and conducting activities/workshops based on their own interests and interests of local youth. For example: foreign language courses, application support for ESC, volunteering or digital competences workshops and various recycling and DIY workshops.
C. Info Centre activities
Equal opportunities for youth in the local community, European youth goals, democratic and civic engagement of youth, European citizenship, spreading info about Erasmus and ESC projects.
What to do: Creating promotional and informational videos, podcast about youth participation in democratic processes, empowering them to be become active in their communities. Promoting Erasmus and ESC opportunities through social media and live/digital presentations.
General Information
Voluntees will work 30 hours per week. Workspace of the volunteer is Youth Centre which is 10 minutes walking distance from the volunteer’s apartment. Volunteer will be given money in cash for buying food and preparing meals at their accommodation.

Obligatory pre-departure meeting: date, time, place – to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
This is learning program funded by Erasmus+ programme.
That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.
Get to know all provided information in the info letter before you submit your application form.
Apply only when you know you want to participate and you have the dates of the training available.
