The start of October brings with it fallen leaves and a new weekly recap. This week was another tranquil one as we are preparing for great things to come, one of those things being a great winter. But also projects we are developing in Smokinya Foundation
On Monday we primarily worked on the computer (so much computer work is starting to get our eyes sore) but we also builded a woodshelf and chopped some wood. those are things that are fast to say but not so much to do so we were occupied.

Tuesday we uploaded our sixth vodcast to youtube, we talked about the difficulties and rewards of living in a rural area, you can watch it here (recordar añadir el link), our volunteers kept working on preparing the house for the winter and in the computer, while our coordinators went to the school Vasilesky in karlovo, they talked with the director of the school about the needs of the youth.
Wednesday was helping hands, so we went into the village and picked up trash we found near the dumping sites and at the sides of the road. More computer work and we also started to investigate which vegetables we would like to grow from autumn till spring in our garden.

On Thursday we did more computer work to finish pushing a project that starts this November, and started looking for volunteers. We also went to Karlovo to see a woman for peace event organized by the karlovo youth center.
On Friday we had our bulgarian lesson, cooking mussaka only using a bulgarian recipe, with more computers and woodwork on the side.

Finally on the weekend we stayed on Mrachenik for the first weekend in over a month, we rested and chopped wood.
This week we do not have much to say but in exchange of having more to say in the future, we cannot wait to share our future plans but for now we have to do some restrain and keep our mouth shut. Until next time.
