Завийте ръкави, дайте воля на творчеството си и се впуснете в практическа работа, за да подобрите пространството, да усъвършенствате практиките за устойчивост и да допринесете за развитието на проекта. Образователната еко-общност Hopeland се намира в отдалечена селска местност в южната част на Гърция. Проектът е изграден с много любов и предимно от естествени материали, предоставени от доброволци, посетители и членове на екипа, които са прекарали последните 13 години с нас.
Нашата мисия е да предоставим пространство, в което хората да изследват, творят и учат един от друг и от природата. Пространство, в което нашите действия и взаимодействия се основават на нашите основни ценности – устойчивост, отговорност, синергия и, разбира се, надежда!
Hopeland предлага различни практически обучения чрез програмите Erasmus+ и ESC, основно по теми, свързани с личностното развитие, общността и околната среда.
Предлагаме тази възможност на 15 участници, за да гарантираме междукултурното измерение на проекта. Има няколко изисквания от самата програма и профил, на който бихме искали да се фокусираме.

Законни жители на една от страните, участващи в програмата „Еразъм+“, които не се нуждаят от виза за влизане в Гърция

Готов да живеете в селска среда с основни условия

Желание да се изправиш пред предизвикателството да се съгласуваш с хора от различни култури и да си отворен към
споделянето на пространство, отговорности и вземане на решения с другите в обща среда -
Ентусиазиран от практически дейности и задачи като градинарство, строителство, готвене, почистване

Желание да покажат ангажираност, да поемат инициативи и да създават възможности за себе си и обществото

Приоритет ще се даде на тези, които се сблъскват или са се сблъсквали с някакви проблеми в живота.

Търсим също така няколко доброволци с медийни умения, като фотография и
филмово производство, които да документират цялото това преживяване за всички, но също така да подпомагат дейностите на Hopeland,
дигиталния маркетинг и промоциите. Някои доброволци ще допринесат и за създаването на
наръчник, документиращ резултатите от проекта.
В Hopeland устойчивостта е в основата на нашето пътуване. Непрекъснато търсим начини да се грижим за околната среда, да подхранваме регенеративната икономика и да култивираме значими връзки с хората около нас. Нашата цел е да намерим по-екологични и по-съзнателни начини на живот, като приемаме както предизвикателствата, така и възможностите, които те носят.
Предприехме стъпки като живот извън електропреносната мрежа, използване на екологични строителни практики и избор на вегетариански начин на живот. В същото време признаваме, че устойчивостта е непрекъснат процес, изпълнен с учене и адаптиране. Вместо да се стремим към съвършенство, ние се фокусираме върху целенасочени стъпки напред, като се развиваме чрез опит и споделяне на знания.
Каним ви да се присъедините към това пътуване. Донесете своята енергия, идеи и практическо участие, докато продължаваме да градим заедно един по-устойчив и приобщаващ свят.

Join GAiA and be a hopelander!
Live for a month at Hopeland, an educational eco-community in southern Greece. Join 15 volunteers from across Europe and get the full Hopeland experience, guided and supported by the crew. Roll up your sleeves, unleash your creativity, and dive into hands-on work to enhance the space, improve sustainability practices, and contribute to the growth of the project. Experience living and working together in a communal setting, embracing the challenges and opportunities that come with it. All while picking up new skills, making meaningful connections, and finding joy along the way!
Hopeland educational eco-community is located in a rural remote area in the south part of Greece. The venture is built with lots of love and mainly natural materials from volunteers, visitors and staff members who have stayed with us throughout the last 13 years.
Our mission is to provide a space where people explore, create and learn from each other and nature. A space in which our actions and interactions are based on our core values of sustainability, accountability, synergy, and of course.. hope!
Hopeland is offering various experiential learning experiences through the Erasmus+ and ESC programs, mainly on the topics of personal growth, community and environment.
We are offering this opportunity to 15 participants to ensure the intercultural dimension of the project. There are several requirements from the programme itself and a profile that we would like to focus on.

18-30 years old (not older than 31 on the first day of the project)

Legal residents of one of the Erasmus+ programme countries with no visa needed to enter Greece
-
Ready to live in a rural environment with basic conditions

Eager to be challenged into aligning together with people from different cultures and open to
sharing space, responsibilities, and decision-making with others in a communal setting -
Enthusiastic with hands-on activities and practical tasks like gardening, building, cooking, cleaning
-
Eager to show commitment, take initiatives and create opportunities for themselves and society
-
Priority will be given to those that are facing or faced any kind of troubles in life
-
We are also looking for a couple of volunteers with media skills such as photography and
filmmaking for documenting this whole experience for everyone but also support Hopeland
activities, digital marketing and promotions. Some volunteers will also contribute to create a
handbook documenting the project outcomes.
At Hopeland, sustainability is at the core of our journey. We are continuously exploring ways to care for the environment, nurture a regenerative economy, and cultivate meaningful connections with those around us. Our aim is to find greener, more mindful ways of living, embracing both the challenges and possibilities that come with it.
We have taken steps like living off-grid, using eco-friendly building practices, and choosing a vegetarian lifestyle. At the same time, we recognize that sustainability is an ongoing process, full of learning and adaptation. Rather than striving for perfection, we focus on intentional steps forward, growing through experience and shared knowledge.

We are forming the group as applications come in. If your profile is a good fit, we’ll invite you to a video call with the mentor to meet each other and see if it’s a mutual match. If selected, you’ll receive a detailed email with all the next steps. Everyone who applies will hear back from us by the end of February at the latest.

The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by the European Union: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 211 EUR per person or 285 EUR for green travel.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 30 EUR from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
