Hello! Our project Rural Future is coming to its end. Since February 2025, we hosted 7 young people in Mrachenik, rural village in the Sredna Gora region. All working together to renovate an old school into a volunteering and training center while connecting with rural life and locals.
This year, we opened our new project, Wild Vibes. We are now opened to application for this project, co-funded by the EU.
If you like what you see, you can apply HERE.
You can get to know the project better HERE.
We will cover weekly progress through the so-called “Weekly Recaps”. Here we will give a brief overview of what is happening in this little village called Mrachenik and report on our experiences.
Hi everyone!
How cold it was last week! But this thing doesn’t stop us. We did a lot of thing, like work in the Volunteers House’garden. Roni is the new (and first) garden leader, he took care of finding a place for all the seedlings.

Angela painted a map to keep track of where the seedlings are and placed it near the ground.

On Wednesday a group of wild horses stopped near the office to eat some grass, some of them were very good and allowed us to approach and pet them.

Like we said last Monday, two new volunteers came to Mrachenik. Christina, from Greece, Samuel from Slovakia. They will soon publish their presentation on the website, don’t miss it!

On Saturday night we had a farewell barbecue for Roni,he’s leaving today, which at the same time was a welcome one for Christina and Samuel.
Now in the Volunteers House we are in five. We are pretty sure we will have a lot of fun.
Another thing: Today we will publish our monthly vodcast on YouTube, click here.
Thanks for reading our recap this week, see you next week!
