Какво е DANA Helping Hands?
Амбициозен проект, финансиран с средства от Европейския съюз, който в продължение на 36 месеца ще подпомага населението на област Валенсия, засегнато от DANA на 29 октомври 2024 г.
Предложението на DANA HH е план за интервенция чрез 19 доброволчески проекта за възстановяване на засегнатите райони. Ние се стремим да насърчим сътрудничеството между доброволците, организациите и местната общност.
С други думи, обединяваме сили, за да отговорим на най-неотложните нужди, да помогнем на хората да възстановят качеството си на живот и да генерираме устойчива промяна в социалната структура.
Нашата инициатива допринася за материално възстановяване, укрепване на общността и повишаване на осведомеността за последиците от природните бедствия. Благодарение на синергията между местните и международните партньори, ние се стремим да възстановим надеждата, да подобрим качеството на живот на засегнатите и да създадем възпроизводим модел за бъдещи климатични кризи.
Описание на проекта
Проектът ще се опита да подкрепи различни сдружения, училища, общини и заинтересовани страни, които допринасят за възстановяването на районите и регионите, засегнати от урагана Дана през 2024 г. и които се нуждаят от нашата помощ. Ще бъдат разработени разнообразни дейности, които могат да бъдат физически, артистични, образователни или социални. Тази група разработва културни дейности с доброволци от Япония, така че познанията по японски език и култура ще бъдат допълнително предимство. Ще се занимаваме и със селскостопанска работа, а част от зеленчуците ще бъдат разпределени в кварталите на Дана. Освен това ще има периодични образователни дейности с деца, дейности по възстановяване и посещения в центрове за възрастни хора или други социални събития в подкрепа на общностните организации в района, за да се изпълнят 6-7 работни часа на ден. 2 дни в седмицата ще бъдат свободни.
Настаняване, храна и транспорт
В първата част от проекта доброволците ще отседнат в къща за доброволци, Casa Jazmin в Sanet Alicante, с три стаи с няколко легла и бани. Те ще споделят стаите с четири до шест други доброволци. Къщата разполага с хубава кухня, в която доброволците ще си готвят сами под ръководството на ръководителите на лагера. Организацията ще предостави възглавници, чаршафи и завивки, ако бъдат поискани. La Casa Jazmín е наскоро реновирана, но винаги има някои задачи, които трябва да бъдат довършени, и доброволците може да бъдат помолени да свършат някаква работа. Възможно е да се намира на други места в близост до Валенсия.
Обучение по време на дейността
Това е проект за обмен на опит в някои случаи с ангажирани, специални и уязвими хора. Той предоставя възможност за повишаване на ключовите компетенции, необходими на младежите, за да станат активни граждани и да подобрят своите перспективи за образование и заетост. В него ще участват доброволци в дейности, основани на неформалното образование, като се включват хора на доброволен принцип и се предоставят на младежите възможности да придобият широк спектър от умения (лични, професионални и междукултурни) чрез планирани неформални и неофициални дейности.
Профил на участниците
Ще бъдат приемани само доброволци с МОТИВАЦИОННО ПИСМО, в което да опишете вашите умения по испански език, японски език/култура, шофьорски книжки и всякакви други умения, които ви правят подходящи за този проект. Търсим МНОГО АНГАЖИРАНИ и активни млади хора, които искат да участват в проект, фокусиран върху развитието и социалното/психическото възстановяване след природно бедствие. Доброволците трябва да разберат, че в много случаи ще работят с уязвими хора. Необходими са основни познания по английски и испански език (колкото по-високо ниво, толкова по-добре). Японският език е добре дошъл. Шофьорската книжка също се оценява високо.
What is DANA Helping Hands?
An ambitious project, funded with European Union funds, to contribute over 36 months to the populations of the Valencian Community affected by the DANA of October 29, 2024.
The DANA HH proposal is an Intervention Plan through 19 volunteering projects for the recovery of affected areas. We seek to foster collaboration between volunteers, organizations and the local community.
In other words, we join forces to address the most urgent needs, help people recover their quality of life and generate sustainable change in the social fabric.
Our initiative contributes to material recovery, to community strengthening and to raising awareness about the effects of natural disasters. Thanks to the synergy between local and international partners, we seek to restore hope, improve the quality of life of those affected and establish a replicable model for future climate crises.
Project Description
The project will try to support different associations, schools, municipallities and stakeholders contributing to the recovery of the areas and regions affected by Dana in 2024. that need our help. Thre will be a wide diverse of activities to develope that might be phisical , artistical, educational or social- This group develope cultural activities with volunteers coming from Japan , so a knowledge of Japaneses language and culture will be an added value. We will also undertake agricultural work and part of the veggies will be distributed in Dana neighbourhoods. Additionally, there will be occasional educational activities with children, reconstructing activities and visits to senior centers or other social events to support the community organizations in the area, to complete 6-7 working hours a day. 2 days per week will be free.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
In the first part of the project Volunteers will stay in a volunteer house, Casa Jazmin in Sanet Alicante, with three rooms with several bunkbeds and bathrooms. They will share rooms with four to six other volunteers. The house includes a nice kitchen in which the volunteers will cook for themselves in the guidance of the camp leaders. The organization will provide pillows sheets and covers if asked. La Casa Jazmín is recently renovated but there are always some pending tasks to complete and volunteers may be asked to do some work. It can happen to be localted in other places close to Valencia
Training during the activity
This is a project of experiences in some cases with commited, special and vulnerable people. It provides the occasion to increase key competences that are necessary for youth to become active citizens and to improve their educational and employment prospects. It will involved volunteers in activities based on non-formal education, involving people on a voluntary basis, providing youngsters with opportunities to acquire a wide range of skills (personal, professional, and intercultural) through planned non-formal and informal activities.
Participant profile
Only volunteers with MOTIVATION STATEMENT will be accepted with information about your skills in Spanish Language, Japaneses Language/cultur, driving liceses and any other skills that makes you special for thisproject. We are looking for VERY COMPROMISED and active young people who want to participate in a project focused on development and social/mental reconstruction after a natural disaster. Volunteers need to understand that they are at a service in many cases with vuilnerable people. Basic English and Spanish (the higher the better) is needed. Japaneses language is welcome. Also, a driving licence is valued.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 395 EUR per person. Green Travel: 535 EUR per person
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 30 EUR from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
