Goals for 2030 is a learning experience to raise awareness about sustainability challenges, connect to nature, the people around us and our own inner motivation and support each other to take action for a better place.
Description
GOALS for 2030 aims to address sustainability through objectives:
– Youth understand multiple aspects of sustainability, make changes in their lives and support others to make changes in their lives;
– Support youth to make projects more sustainable (including social, economic, environmental aspects);
– Understand that sustainability challenges, such as climate change, are global, interdisciplinary and systemic and need collaboration worldwide to be tackled;
– Create video tutorials about how to promote sustainable lifestyle to people and how to build mini initiatives about sustainability;
– Help youth to create sustainable projects (an initiative that will tackle an issue like rubbish, air pollution, climate change) big or small in order to help others to become more sustainable, make changes in their life and create sustainable projects on their own;
– Live in a simulative sustainable community for 10 days;
– Design follow up activities in local communities of Spain, Czech Republic, Greece, Bulgaria, Italy and Lithuania or follow the project they designed during the project
Participants Profile
– Between 18-30 years old or 20+ as a group leader or team member
– Interested in Sustainability
– Want to learn and practice 17 Sustainable Development Goals, adopted by UN
– Keen to enhance your self-development
– Eager to start creating a change for sustainability
– Resident of Spain, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Italy and Lithuania
– Able to work and communicate in English
IMPORTANT
Obligatory pre-departure meeting: date, time, place – to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

This is learning program funded by Erasmus+ programme.
That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 275 EUR per person.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 20 EUR /40 leva/ from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
