1. Euroclasses
Recognizing that young people are the future, Eurodesk is committed to increasing awareness among youth about the European Union. To achieve this, Eurodesk has built an extensive network throughout Europe, offering advice, support, and guidance on the numerous opportunities available to them.
Euroclasses are designed to provide unbiased and trustworthy information on popular European topics, such as the European Solidarity Corps, active participation in shaping EU policies, and promoting EU values. Key areas like volunteering, activism, engagement, and employment within the EU are thoroughly covered. So, dive in and discover not only how you can contribute to the EU, but also how the EU can benefit you. Learn more here!
2. Eurodesk Opportunity Finder
We understand that life can be hectic, and finding the time to sit down for hours or even days to search for opportunities abroad, read through the requirements, and verify their reliability can be challenging. But don’t worry—Eurodesk has got you covered. To make your life easier and more convenient, they’ve created a website called Opportunity Finder.
As the name suggests, this site compiles, if not all, then at least the most significant opportunities available within the European Union, as well as those that will soon be open. Whether you’re looking for traineeships in EU institutions, bodies, and agencies, scholarships, university grants, volunteering opportunities within the EU or in third countries, international meetings, e-learning courses, or awards, you’ll find it all there.
If you haven’t visited the website yet, now is the time! All the formal requirements and necessary information for applying are already summarized, so what more do you need to make a change in your life? Learn more here!
3. Time to Move
We invite you to explore Eurodesk’s exciting initiative, “Time to Move.” This program is designed to bring people together for fun, informal gatherings filled with engaging activities. These events not only provide entertainment but also raise awareness about EU values, challenges, and the international Sustainable Development Goals.
“Time to Move” events are held all over Europe, so there’s no excuse not to join in and enjoy your free time while learning and contributing to a better world. Plus, you can use these opportunities to directly ask Eurodesk Youth trainers and staff about the opportunities that interest you. Don’t be shy—join the fun! Learn more here.
4. European Youth Portal
If you’re passionate about volunteering, this is a must-visit! Endorsed by the European Commission and closely linked with Eurodesk, the European Youth Portal provides an official, secure, and verified platform where you can discover, read about, and apply to accredited non-profit organizations across Europe that are seeking new volunteers through the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ Programmes.
Whether you’re in Spain, Bulgaria, Italy, or Sweden, it doesn’t matter. There are thousands of opportunities tailored to your academic and professional background, personal interests, or simply your adventurous spirit, both within and outside the European Union.
But that’s not all. The European Youth Portal also offers information on job opportunities in various international organizations, short-term volunteering for those who can’t commit to a full year abroad, fundraising, and projects for NGOs working on issues ranging from climate change to migration. Plus, you’ll find the latest news on what’s happening across Europe. We highly recommend visiting the website—a few minutes could change your life! Learn more here.
