Smokinya Foundation and Buitendoor are looking for 5 Bulgarians (4 participant + 1 group leader) interested and passionate about outdoor activities. ‘Outdoor living’ is an international youth exchange that will take place in Nunspeet, the Netherlands, 15-21 May 2016. The group leader will also participate in an advanced planning visit (APV) 11-12 April in the Netherlands. This is an educational mobility with focus on outdoors. Prepare your sleeping bag and camping mattress – it’s gonna be out and fun!
The topic of this YE is ‘Sustainable Living’. Outdoors has a lot of potential and power which comes natural in the context of doing activities outside. This is also a great opportunity to develop your personality. How can we put all this together and use it as a tool in youth work? That’s what we are going to explore in May: eco camping, straw huts, tree houses, clay houses, tents, ropes, knots, cooking, living outdoors and more.
Selection criteria: motivation and willingness to prepare before the project as well as to deliver a presentation/workshop after the project. This is educational mobility and there’s quite a lot of learning to happen. We expect from you to also share it and spread the learning.
