Какво представлява Sansusī?
1. Подкрепа за изкуството и иновации
Те подкрепят артистите, като им предоставят пространства за пълноценно изява. За тази цел постоянно преосмислят традиционните формати – било то артистични резиденции, концерти или фестивали. Освен това проучват нови форми и пространства за творчество, продукция и културен дизайн.
2. Развитие и ангажиране на публиката
Те подкрепят и популяризират сценичните изкуства и съвременната музика сред нова публика. Чрез иновативни и приобщаващи преживявания те повишават осведомеността и канят публиката си да открие културни практики, които постоянно се преосмислят.
3. Въздействие върху общността и връзка с нея
Те работят за благото на общността, като изграждат силни мостове между артистите и гражданите. Те обогатяват артистичните практики чрез пряк обмен, споделяне и срещи между артисти и отделни лица или групи.
Задачата
Фестивалът „Sansusī“ ще се проведе от 7 до 9 август, а вие ще трябва да подготвите всичко за пристигането на посетителите и участниците.
Физическа работа за изграждане и подобряване на резиденцията, за да стане тя по-приветлива и уютна. Това може да включва боядисване на стена, изграждане на нова стая или външно пространство.
Sansusī може да има няколко резидентни артисти през лятото. Те развиват свои собствени идеи и може да работят с вас или с местните общности. Може да се нуждаят от техническа подкрепа, да искат да си сътрудничат с други или да се нуждаят от друга помощ.
Те наистина търсят хора, които искат да творят. Независимо дали става дума за пърформанс, театър, поезия, аудио произведение, скулптура или списание. Формите са много.
Можете да работите самостоятелно или да си сътрудничите с хората около вас. Изследвайте. Позволете на заобикалящата среда да ви даде повече. Експериментирайте. Намерете нови начини за себеизразяване. Упражнявайте се. Споделяйте това, което създавате.

Практически аспекти
По време на вашия проект по ЕСК настаняването ви е изцяло покрито от разходите по програмата. Мястото, където ще живеете и ще прекарвате по-голямата част от времето си, се нарича Susēja. Преди е било къща за гости, а сега е център за артистична резиденция, заобиколен от малка гора. В резиденцията може да има един или двама артисти и се надяваме, че ще имате възможност да работите с тях.
Ще нощувате в къщата пред центъра за настаняване, в голяма спална зала, наречена „Къщата със сауната“ (на снимката). Ще имате пълна свобода да я декорирате и да я превърнете в свое лично пространство, както ви харесва. В къщата има тоалетни и душове, но кухнята се намира в центъра за настаняване. Общо ще бъдете 16–20 международни доброволци. Има 2 тоалетни и 3 душа, както и перална машина.
В резиденцията (другата къща) има 2 тоалетни и душ, пералня, една голяма кухня за готвене,
обща работна зала, която може да се използва и като трапезария, когато навън е дъждовно или студено, тераса навън, има Wi-Fi. Не е най-силният, но работи.
Имат проектор, озвучителна система, сценични светлини, роял, малък DJ миди контролер, китара и вероятно могат да намерят и други неща, ако е необходимо. Имат и куполна сцена, която може да се използва за концерти, представления, театър, танц, цирк, репетиции и много други неща, когато пребиваващите артисти не я използват.
В началото на август цялото място ще бъде много натоварено, защото тогава ще се проведе фестивалът Sansusī. Всяка година там се събират до 700 души. Това е важно, тъй като през тази една седмица вашият комфорт ще бъде по-малко удобен и приятен. Но ще бъде магично и напълно си заслужава!
Резиденцията „Сусея“ се намира на 3 км от близкото градче Акнисте (където са най-близките магазини!).
Най-отдалеченото място за общи дейности е на 4 км. До тези места можете да стигнете пеша или с велосипед. За седмичните покупки ще решаваме дали да поръчаме продукти или да отидем в по-отдалечени градове с по-големи и по-евтини магазини.
Джобни пари
Ще получавате 5 € на ден за лични разходи.
Храна
Ще получавате 5 € на ден за общи разходи за храна (когато сме заедно) и 2 € на ден за лична храна/закуски. По време на груповото доброволчество се фокусираме върху приготвянето на вегетарианска храна, за да намалим въздействието върху околната среда. По време на фестивалната седмица храната се приготвя от готвачи и е изцяло покрита.
Пътни разходи – пристигане и заминаване
Пътните разходи от и до Сусея ще бъдат възстановени и изчислени с помощта на официалния калкулатор за разстояния от уебсайта на Erasmus+. При използване на екологично пътуване, което силно ви препоръчваме, сумата варира от 285 € до 535 € в двете посоки, в зависимост от това колко далеч е страната ви на пребиваване. What is Sansusī?
1. Artistic Support and Innovation
They support artists by offering them spaces for full expression. To this end, they constantly reinvent traditional formats, whether artist residencies, concerts, or festivals. They also explore new forms and spaces for creation, production, and cultural design.
2. Audience Development and Engagement
They support and promote the performing arts and contemporary music to new audiences. Through innovative and inclusive experiences, they raise awareness and invite their audiences to discover cultural practices that are constantly being reinterpreted.
3. Community Impact and Connection
They work for the well-being of the community by building strong bridges between artists and citizens. They enrich artistic practices through direct exchange, sharing, and encounters between artists and individuals or groups.
The Task
Sansusī festivalare is in August 7-9 and you gonna, create and prepare everything for the arrival of visitors and participants.
Physical work to build and make the residence centre better, moreinclusive and cozy. It could be painting a wall or building a new room or outdoor space.
Sansusī might have a couple of residing artists during the summer. They develop their own ideas and might work with you or local communities. They might need technical support or might want to cooperate with others, or might need other assistance.
they trully look for someone who want to create. Either it’s performance,theatre, poem, audio piece, sculptureor zine. There are many forms.
You can go solo or collaborate with those around you. Explore. Let surroundings bring more to you. Experiment. Find new ways for self and expression. Practice. Share what you create.

Practicals
During your ESC project, your accommodation is fully covered by the program costs. The place where you will live and spend most of the time is called Susēja. It used to be a guest house, now it’s an artist residence centre surrounded by small forest. An artist or 2 might be in the residence and hopefully you will have a chance to work with them.
You will sleep in the house in front of the residence center in a big dormitory room. call the Sauna House (in picture). You’ll be free to decorate it and make it your own space as it suits you. There are toilets and showers in the house, but the kitchen is in the residence center. Together you will be 16-20 international volunteers. There are 2 toilets and 3 showers, washing machine.
In the residence center (the other house), there are 2 toilets and shower, washing machine, one big kitchen to cook,
common working room that can be also dining place when weather is rainy or cold outside, terrace outside, there is Wi-Fi. Not the strongest one, but it works.
they have projector, music system, stage lights, grand piano, small DJ midi controller, guitar and probably the can get some other things, if needed. they also have a dome stage that can be used for concerts, performances, theatre, dance, circus, practice and a lot more when residing artists don’t use it.
In the beginning of August the whole place will be very busy because then the festival Sansusī will happen. Each year they gather up to 700 people. This is important as during this one week your comfort will be less comfortable and convenient. But it will be magical and totally worth it!
Susēja residence centre is 3 km away from nearby small town Aknīste (with nearest shops!).
Furthest community place is 4 km away where activities might take place. To these locations you can either walk or take a bicycle. For weekly shopping we will decide either to order produce or go to further towns with bigger and cheaper shops.
Pocket Money
You will receive 5 €/day for your personal expenses.
Food
You will receive 5 €/day for common food expenses (when we are together) and 2€/day for personal food/snacks. For group volunteering time we focus on cooking vegetarian food to reduce environmental impact. During festival week food is cooked by cooks and fully covered.
Travel Costs – arrival & departure
Travel costs from and to Susēja will be reimbursed and calculated using the official distance calculator from Erasmus+ website. Using green travel, which we highly encourage you to do, it goes from 285€ to 535€ both ways depending how far is your residence country. max 417 EUR for bulgarian

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by the ESC program: accommodation, food, materials, the program and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 417 EUR per person.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 30 EUR from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
