This year, we have volunteers living in a remote village, working to rebuild a school, learning more about and connecting with rural Bulgaria, and developing their soft and hard skills. The project, called Rural Future, is co-funded by the EU through the ESC programme.

During the Rural Future Project, we are going to cover the weekly progress through the so-called “Weekly Recaps”. Here we will give a short overview of what is going on in this little village called Mrachenik and will report on our experiences.
Our Mrachenik volunteer team is made up of one person for the moment, Andrey . He is 18 years old, from Portugal, and has a deep passion for music.

Здравейте, хора от Мрачени!
От тази сряда 16-ти, и всяка следваща сряда, нашият екип от доброволци ще посвещава част от деня си на помощ в селото. Можем да помагаме с почистване, градинарство, преместване на предмети и други задачи, които са трудни за изпълнение самостоятелно.
Ще сме на разположение в сряда от 10:00 до 13:00 часа. Ще обикаляме из селото и ще ви питаме дали имате нужда от помощ, но ако искате да насрочите посещение, можете да ни пишете на victoria@smokinya.com. Всичко, което е насрочено, може да се осъществи само в рамките на посочените по-горе часове, от 10:00 до 13:00 часа в сряда.
Много се радваме да се запознаем с повече хора в селото и да помогнем с каквото можем!

Hi Mrachenik people!
Starting this Wednesday the 16th, and every Wednesday after that, our volunteer team is dedicating part of their day towards helping around the village. We can help clean, garden, move things, and assist in things that are hard to manage by yourself.
We will be available on Wednesday from 10:00 to 13:00. We will walk around the village asking you if you need help with something, but if you would like to schedule us to come by, you can email us at victoria@smokinya.com. Anything that is scheduled can only take place within the hours mentioned above, 10:00 to 13:00 on Wednesday.
We are really looking forward to meeting more people in the village and helping out in the ways that we can!
