This is a learning program. It requires full focus and participation.

Bona Fides Association is looking for 8 motivated volunteers to take part in their project for 12 months, starting in Januray, February 2026.

Your main activities will be :
1. Katowice Community Building and Organizing
2. Healthification and Beautification of Katowice
3. Sensorial Inclusive City Campaign

It induces a huge diversity of activities combining : digital support and Bona Fides outreach, community workshops and presentations, discovering and sharing cultures with the locals from different age, background and disabilities. This is only a short sample of what will be your action as a volunteer. if you like diversity (in communities and activities) this project is for you. It is also a good opportunity for you to explore different scopes of local engagement and action. Check all of it HERE.

The searched volunteers’ profile is : Citizens or residents of EU countries, between 18 and 30 years old.
Open, motivated, solution oriented, team player, sharing European values.

The important formalities for your participation are (and you must):
– Obtain a PESEL number in Poland
– Request a criminal record certificate
– Open a Polish bank account
– Obtain a Polish SIM card (recommended)
– Bring ID AND Passport to Poland.
– Sign and respect a General Rules and Deposit Condition Document.

All steps are supported by the hosting team.


IMPORTANT
Obligatory pre-departure meeting: to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, ESC, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by ESC programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.

Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: number EUR per person.

Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 30 EUR from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
