”Phoenix” is a short-term volunteer opportunity that will bring 2 people together for 2 months in Bergolo, Italy!
The Phoenix is a legendary creature for which is known to raise from its own ashes after it’s life comes to an end and it gets reborn. This project’s aim is to change the enviroment, to reflect, to understand each other better, learn new things and re-start again with new approach. To raise from the ashes, metaphorically said – as the Phoenix does.
When? 🗓 24 June – 21 August, 2025 (travel days excluded)
Where? 📍 Bergolo – Alta Langa,Italy

Description:
In those 2 months, your tasks will include:
🔸Gardening: Summer sowing and transplants, collection of fruits and vegetables, wet the garden and seedbed.
🔸Events: Practical support for the organization of the events
🔸Project support: Support to the organisation during international residential projects.
By participating you can significantly improve your self-awareness, the understanding of your own ambitions. Discover new talents that you have underestimated and reflect on how to use them.
You will improve your soft skills , significantly improve your communication and language skills too.
Participant’s profile:
🔹Age: 18 – 30
🔹If you are facing challenges in life like the ones described here
🔹If you are interested in getting to know and cooperate with other volunteers from different countries
🔹If you want to live for 2 months in a rural enviroment in Italy
🔹If you are resident in one of the countries from the list (Visa free)

This is learning program funded by Erasmus+ programme.

The program requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing. Travel reimbursement is only sent to those who fully participate in all phases, including the follow-up and dissemination. General applications are disregarded.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.
