What is NICE Japan, Hakodate :
Workcamp type of LMTV in Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan! Empower foreigners living in Japan and support the citizen farm in the beautiful Hokkaido region.

Japan, Afghanistan (families supported in 2022), and open to volunteers worldwide.

Important Details:
1)Work Description:
-Support foreign residents and students with daily life and language.
-Assist with agricultural work and help families visiting the citizen farm run by HIF.
-Identify community challenges and solutions, and assist in cleaning Onuma Lake and organizing local festivals.
2)Accommodation:
-Volunteers share rooms in rented housing, take turns cooking meals (vegetarian options possible), and have WiFi access. Smoking is not allowed.
3)Participation Fee:
-18,000 JPY/month (approx. 108 EUR by Nov 2024 rates) for the first 3 months.
-9,000 JPY/month from the 4th month.
The fee covers project preparation, coordination, and transportation for camp leaders. Meals and accommodation are free.
4)Requirements:
-Motivation to work with foreigners and on a farm.
-Respect for local culture, strong English skills, and willingness to learn Japanese.
-Skills in teaching Japanese or agriculture are a bonus.
5)Language:
-English and Japanese. Some staff at HIF speak good English.
6)Other Details:
-The first and last two days involve On-Arrival and Evaluation Seminars in Yokohama.
-Arrival: Tokyo airports (NRT or HND) by 08:00 on the starting day.
-Departure: Tokyo airports after 18:00 on the ending day.
