Who is it for?
Are you:
– between 18-30 years old or 20+ as a group leader
– interested in zero waste
– you want to be part of an eco-community for 9 days
– exchange ideas and practices about recycling, reusing, rotting, and learn all the 5Rs of zero waste
– you have difficulties in being part of these projects

Zero Waste Challenge | Youth Exchange 

Do you recycle?

Are you a fan of your reusable bottle?

Do you know what the 5 Rs are?

You don’t have a clue about reuse and upcycle?

Then Zero waste challenge is for you to exchange ideas and empower yourself on how to become zero waste every step of the way. You will exchange ideas and practices on how to reuse, find new ways to repurpose our waste, ideas on how to recycle better and know more about composting.

IMPORTANT
Obligatory pre-departure meeting: date, time, place – to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

This is learning program funded by Erasmus+ programme.
That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.
Get to know all provided information in the info letter before you submit your application form.
Apply only when you know you want to participate and you have the dates of the training available.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.

Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 245 EUR per person.
Participation donation: 50 EUR given in cash upon arrival at registration in place. This amount is an investment in your learning and supports the hosting organization’s local activities.

Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 20 EUR /40 leva/ from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
