Rurality | Review
What a beautiful chapter.
Rurality brought together young people, youth workers and local energy around one clear aim: strengthening rural communities through practical skills, inclusion, active participation and sustainable local development — all grounded in non-formal education and European cooperation.
Days filled with hands-on work, honest conversations, shared meals and quiet moments in nature. Participants explored real rural realities, exchanged tools and stories across borders, and left with concrete competences they can take home. Inclusion was not a slogan — it was lived in every mixed group, every open circle, every moment someone felt seen and useful.
We saw people arriving with questions and leaving with clearer direction, stronger connections and a deeper sense of what is possible when we work with care and cooperation.
Local hosts opened their doors and hearts. Volunteers and participants cleaned, built, cooked, listened and celebrated together. The final days felt like a natural closing — gratitude, laughter, a sense of “we did something real here”.
Thank you to every participant, partner organisation, trainer and local friend who made Rurality alive. The impact continues in the small actions people will carry into their own communities.
