Проектът
Основната идея е да се организират 6–10 концерта, за да се привлече внимание към възстановяването след урагана „Дана“ и да се съберат средства за гражданското общество, което работи за тази цел. Затова търсим доброволци, способни да сформират уникална група, изпълняваща свинг, рок и кавъри, като част от значим художествен и социален проект, съпътстван от други дейности в подкрепа на гражданското общество, засегнато от урагана „Дана“. Избраните доброволци могат също да организират музикални работилници за деца на възраст от 6 до 11 години и за възрастни хора в домове за стари хора. Възможно е да се наложи да се участва и в други дейности, свързани с предишни проекти на Dana HH, като земеделие, възстановителни дейности, възстановяване на снимки и посещения в центрове за възрастни хора или други социални събития в подкрепа на местните организации, за да се изпълнят 6-7 работни часа на ден. Два дни в седмицата ще бъдат свободни.
Настаняване, хранене и транспорт
Доброволците ще бъдат настанени в къщата за доброволци „Каса Джазмин“ в Санет, Аликанте, която разполага с три стаи с няколко двуетажни легла и бани. Къщата разполага с малка кухня, в която доброволците ще си готвят сами под ръководството на ръководителите на лагера. Организацията ще осигури възглавници, чаршафи и завивки, ако бъдат поискани. La Casa Jazmín е наскоро реновирана, но винаги има някои задачи, които трябва да бъдат завършени, и доброволците може да бъдат помолени да свършат малко работа. Възможно е да бъде преместена на други места близо до Валенсия, ако се наложи да извършим някаква работа в района.
Профил на участника
Търсим силно мотивирани млади хора с добри/отлични музикални умения, които могат да свирят на инструмент – за предпочитане на духови, бас или барабани (или на духови и метални инструменти – кларинет, тромбон, саксофон, флейта и др., а може би и други инструменти), за да се включат в група. Певици и видео оператори могат да бъдат включени по някакъв начин, стига да могат да свирят. Търсим също така сценични работници, които могат да карат стар микробус. Кандидатите ТРЯБВА да ни изпратят видео, в което да можем да оценим уменията им като музиканти, заедно с автобиография. Всички други доброволци, включително и тези с по-малко възможности, също са добре дошли да кандидатстват.

The project
The main idea is to create 6-10 concerts to give vissibility to the Dana Recovery and raise funds for civil society working for such aim. Therefore we are looking volunteers able to create an unique swing/rock/covers band as part of a meaningful art and social project with other activities to support civil society that suffered from Dana. The selected volunteers might also create musical workshops for children age 6 to 11 and elderies in residential homes. Other activities conected with Dana HH projects done before such as agriculture , reconstructing activities, photo recovery and d visits to senior centers or other social events to support the community organizations in the area, may be eventually be required in order to complete 6-7 working hours a day. 2 days per week will be free.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will stay in a volunteer house, Casa Jazmin in Sanet Alicante, with three rooms with several bunkbeds and bathrooms.. The house includes a small kitchen in which the volunteers will cook for themselves in the guidance of the camp leaders. The organization will provide pillows sheets and covers if asked. La Casa Jazmín is recently renovated but there are always some pending tasks to complete and volunteers may be asked to do some work. It can happen to be re-located in other places close to Valencia if we need to do some work around the area.
Partecipant’s profile
We are looking for very motivated young people who have good/ excellent musical skills and can play an instrument preferably brass, bass or drums (or ( a brass and a metal (clarinet, trombone, saxophone, flute etc… maybe other instruments) to be inlcude in a Band. Singers and video makers may be included somehow as long as the can play music. We are also looking for stage man/women able to drive an old van. Candidates SHOULD send us a video where we can evaluate their skills as a musician together with a CV.Any other volunteer, including also those with fewer opportunities are also welcome to apply.

Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by the ESC program: accommodation, food, materials, the program and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 343 EUR per person.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 30 EUR from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
