Opportunity Finder” rel=”noopener” target=”_blank”>Opportunity Finder е част от мрежата Eurodesk, европейска младежка информационна мрежа, създадена през 1990 г. Той предоставя достъпна информация за учебна мобилност и подкрепя проекти като Еразъм+. Opportunity Finder има за специфична цел да информира младите хора за различни програми за мобилност, обмен и международни проекти, за да ги насърчи и подкрепи.

Hello together, today we want to share a few Participating Opportunities available on the Opportunity Finder. The Opportunity Finder is part of the Eurodesk network, a European youth information network established in 1990. It provides accessible information on learning mobility and supports projects like Erasmus+. The Opportunity Finder specifically aims to inform young people about various mobility programs, exchanges, and international projects to encourage and support them.

Workshop on plastic waste

ASEF and the NGO Alliance to End Plastic Waste invite journalists to a fully funded workshop “Challenges of Dealing with Plastic Waste”in Singapore from 19 to 22 March 2025.

Journalists will explore the challenges and solutions related to plastic waste management.

Who can apply
– Journalists from ASEM partner countries
– Fluent in English

Organisers will cover:
– Workshop fees
– Accommodation
– Return airfare.

European Charlemagne Youth Prize

The European Charlemagne Youth Prize rewards youth-run projects that support democracy in Europe and promote cooperation and understanding both in Europe and internationally.

It highlights the daily work by young people in strengthening a shared sense of European identity and rewards their active participation in the development of Europe.

Eligibility criteria
– Have a European project with which you wish to apply;
– Be between 16 and 30 years old;
– Be a resident of one of the EU Member States
– You can submit a project either as an individual applicant or on behalf of an organisation or a group of young people.

Prizes
The prize for the best project is EUR 7,500, the second, EUR 5000, and the third, EUR 2,500.
The 3 final laureates will be invited to visit the European Parliament (in Brussels or Strasbourg).
One representative from each of the three European laureates will be offered the opportunity of a Schuman traineeship in the European Parliament.

The representatives of all the 27 national projects selected will also be invited to a four-day trip to Aachen, Germany.

WBG Youth Summit Pitch Competition

The World Bank Group Youth Summit is the worldwide annual gathering of youth (18-35 years old) hosted by the WBG to engage participants from around the world on the most pressing topics. The 2025 edition “New Horizons: Youth-led Innovation for a Sustainable Work” will be held both virtually and in person, in Washington DC, on 19-20 May 2025.

Eligibility
The summit invites individuals and teams of up to five people aged 18-35, from one of the World Bank Group member country, including students and working professionals, to propose innovative solutions in the areas of
– Digital transformation & Data;
– Climate Action & Resilience;
– Empowering Change through Creative Industries.

The summit will focus on four perspectives of innovation:
– Underserved populations
– Fragility,
– Conflict and Violence (FCV)
– and Partnerships
