As our long term volunteer, Nursena, ends her project, she shared with us all her experiences she had here, and as her final project, she directed a short film, “Are We Trapped”. Nursena’s wishes to study film and while she volunteered at Smokinya Foundation, she always strived to improve her skills and direct and write her first short film.
As her final project in Smokinya, Nursena used all the materials and skills she developed through the months here to direct the film, and her months of work culminated in an amazing piece of art which can be viewed here.
We are very proud of Nursena’s hard work and dedication to both her film and the work she did in Smokinya, and wish her the best of luck in her future.
