Profile of the participant:

– You are 18 – 30 years old
– You are resident in Europe or in a neighboring country
– You are available for volunteering for 12 months, beginning on winter/ spring 2024
– You want to interact with locals and young people from other countries
– You want to practice and improve teamwork skills in a multicultural context
– You’re not afraid of manual work, amused by gardening and would like to promote a sustainable way of living
– You want a pause from your daily life, focus on yourself, experiment with new things
– You want to live for one year in a small town , in the countryside and enjoy being surrounded by nature

This is a learning program. It requires full focus and participation.
Travel reimbursement is only sent to those who fully participate in all phases, including the follow-up and dissemination.

IMPORTANT
Obligatory pre-departure meeting: date, time, place – to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps programme, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

This is learning program funded by European Solidarity Corps programme and includes:

– Volunteers will be reimbursed for the arrival/return travel costs. The total amount depends on the distance of the volunteer living place.
– There is reimbursement available for food expenses up to 165 € per month, and each volunteer will receive monthly pocket money of 180 €.
– Volunteers will live in the independent apartment in shared rooms. All the accommodation expenses are being taken care of by the organisation.
– Volunteers will be accommodated in shared apartments. The apartments consist of a kitchen with a dining room, a bathroom, and double bedrooms.

That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.

Apply only when you know you want to participate and you have the dates of the training available.
