Hello! Our project Wild Vibes is coming to its end. Since February 2025, we hosted 13 young people in Mrachenik, rural village in the Sredna Gora region. All working together to renovate an old school into a volunteering and training center while connecting with rural life and locals.
This year, we opened our new project, Bright Lands. We are now opened to application for this project, co-funded by the EU.

Halloween is over, so let’s look back at the event and what happened. This year we focused on three main activities: pumpkin curving, a typical and fun activity. To avoid letting the children play with knives, we thought it would be simpler if we cut the pumpkins while the children drew on them with a pen. This way, we could be more or less sure of the children’s safety. The second activity was to create little paper bats and then attach a straw to them with two wires connected to the wings to make them move. For added realism, we attached an elastic band to the back so the wings would snap back into place. So, for the children, the activity was coloring and a little bit of using a glue gun. I think it was pretty good because it was original, and the children left with a toy. In any case, they enjoyed it. The third activity was face painting. It wasn’t a huge hit, but it was okay.
We also showed a movie towards the end of the event: “Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were Rabbits.”

In my opinion, it was a good event. We had some organizational difficulties, but in the end, we managed. We have quite a few things to try to be better, but I think we’re on the right track.
In total, I think there were about twenty people who came from Mrachenik, Karlovo, and Svezhen
