On the sixth day of the training course, the focus was on local impact activities. During the first part of the day, the participants were divided into three groups and invited to join local volunteers in maintaining the communal areas of Mrachenik. Until lunch, they dedicated their time to cleaning paths around the village of grass and bushes.
After lunch, the tasks changed. One group concentrated on picking sour cherries, cleaning them, and making syrup. The other two groups picked linden flowers to be dried for making traditional Bulgarian herbal tea while the third group separated rose petals from dried roses collected by volunteers, for it later to be used to make rose syrup.
In the evening, participants were given time to reflect on the roles they play in their lives, and were then invited to share their thoughts. After that, they took part in a Mirror Process that provided them with a possibility to reflect on their relationships with themselves and how they see and portray their own personality.
The final activity of the day was a challenge by choice. Participants were invited to form pairs and spend the night at least one kilometre away from the school. This was another opportunity for participants to step into the wilderness and expand their learning zone by confronting external challenges and analysing internal ones.
