“Challenge Accepted” is a hands-on training designed to boost your creative problem-solving skills and teamwork through international volunteering.
What’s it about?
“Challenge Accepted” helps you to:
– Understand your own challenges better;
– Find new ways to support each other in a team;
– Try out ideas, learn from mistakes, and grow;
– Take small daily steps to make real impact in your volunteering work.
Who can apply?
We’re looking for people who:
– Live in an EU programme country (Bulgaria ✔️)
– Are volunteering or organising IVS (International Voluntary Service) activities
– Want to develop creative problem-solving skills
– Can commit to all stages of the project
– Will be at least 18 years old by October 2025
– Can communicate in English
IMPORTANT
Obligatory pre-departure meeting: date, time, place – to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory.

That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 395 euro per person for standart travel, 535 euro for Green Travel.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 20 EUR /40 leva/ from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
