Project activities
• Working with the youngsters and children in our NGO as well as our local partners (other NGOs and schools);
• Working in urban and suburban camps during school holidays;
• Teaching English/Native language and leading events on introducing culture to the local youth and anyone interested;
• Organizing and taking part in various projects, workshops, events, entertainment activities together with youngsters;
• Leading workshops on different topics, all developed by themselves with help of NGO staff.
• Take initiative and realize own ideas in action (write own local project, organize event for children or other entertainment).
• The main focus of work will be in the Youth Club Active centre, where volunteer will try first-hand the methods of non-formal education. The personal timetable will be created in accordance with her/his needs and desires, but it will be flexible and IZUM Youth Club (official name NGO Youth Club Active) is looking for a volunteer for long-term volunteer project in frames of European Solidarity Corps program. available for revisions, if needed. We will give to volunteer a workload of no more than 36 hours per week.
Who we are?
The role of our organization is to promote the non-formal education, to involve youngsters in different social activities on local and international levels.
The IZUM Youth Club (MTÜ Noorteklubi Active) is a youth organization operating since 2012 in Tallinn within the youth sector and is a part of the umbrella organization IZUM Education and Development Center.
We involve youths starting from the age of 13 and offer them a variety of activities for personal development.
We are used to work with local and international funds support, that to realise different events, entertainments, youth forums, seminars and trainings.
• To support youth initiative (help in the process from idea to realization)
• To increase among youth self-empowerment and self-esteem
• To involve young people to be an active part of Erasmus+ programme (Youth in Action programme) and other local and international funds for youngsters and youth workers.
IMPORTANT
Obligatory pre-departure meeting: – to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

COST AND FEES
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 20 EUR /40 leva/ from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
