About EUSPA Traineeship
The European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) provides university students and graduates with a unique and first-hand experience of the workings of the EUSPA, in particular, and of the EU institutions in general.
Currently, there are two types of traineeships:
– Short-term unpaid traineeship to complete and validate mandatory academic requirements (maximum duration three months).
– Regular paid traineeship for 6 months and it can be extended (maximum duration one year)
Eligibility | Who can apply?
– Be a national of the Member States of the European Union, Iceland or Norway;
– No age limit is imposed on the candidates for traineeships.
– Have a recognised higher education degree or in the case of candidates who are at the end of their studies, an official attestation from their school or university stating the marks obtained;
– Have a thorough knowledge of one official language of the European Union and a satisfactory knowledge of another language of the European Union; one of these languages must be the working language of the Agency (English).

Financial conditions & Benefits
– The Traineeship is unpaid for students (short term Traineeship – 3 months)
– Trainees for regular Traineeship will be awarded a monthly grant. The amount of the grant for a full-time traineeship is decided by the Executive Director on a yearly basis and is dependent on budgetary constraints.
– The real cost of the travels at the beginning and end of the traineeship will be reimbursed up to the ceiling of 1200 EUR.
