Проектът и задачата

Целта на проекта е да научите повече за социалната работа и да опознаете различни култури, а за това ще участвате в:

  • Артистични работилници (керамика, музика, театър…)
  • Спорт
  • Земеделие и градинарство
  • Развлекателни дейности (игри, разходки, посещения…)
  • Дейности от ежедневието (гледане на филм, разговори, игра на карти…)

    Доброволците ще работят по 35 часа седмично по възложените им задачи, като ще имат два последователни почивни дни седмично (не задължително събота и неделя). В тези часове са включени месечни срещи, както и възможност за индивидуални разговори и срещи с ментора, който оценява работата на доброволците по проекта, тяхното удовлетворение и процеса на обучение. Доброволците ще посещават и курс по италиански език, воден от местни доброволци, в продължение на 2 часа седмично.

    Кандидатствайте, ако сте:

  • Граждани на възраст 18-30 години, живеещи в държави-членки на ЕС
  • На разположение за целия период на проекта
  • Внимателни и уважителни към хората с увреждания
  • Проактивни, с чувство за инициатива да предлагате нови дейности, работилници или прости начини да прекарвате времето си заедно
  • С цел защита на хората с увреждания, настанени в структурата, доброволците трябва да са вече ваксинирани срещу COVID-19
  • Готови да живеете в междукултурен контекст в предградие
  • С основни познания по английски и, по възможност, италиански език
  • Желаещи да научат италиански, за да общуват с хора с увреждания
  • Предишен опит с хора с увреждания и свързани с това специалности (психология, социология…) са добре дошли, но не са задължителни
  • Поради специфичния характер на проекта и с цел да се гарантира безопасността на хората с увреждания, доброволците не трябва да имат психични проблеми, инфекциозни заболявания или криминално досие. Ще поискаме медицинско свидетелство и справка за съдимост.

    Логистика и подкрепа

  • Храната ще се купува от доброволците с дневен хранителен пауш от 6 евро, изплащан ежемесечно, и ще се приготвя самостоятелно в кухнята на къщата
  • Настаняването ще бъде в една от къщите на Общността, в стаи, споделени с други доброволци от същия пол. Къщата е оборудвана
  • с кухня, бани, тоалетни, Wi-Fi и пералня
  • Джобни пари от 6 евро на ден, изплащани ежемесечно
  • Здравна застраховка (www.henner.com)

    The project and the task

    the project is to learn more about social work and exploring different cultures and for that you gonna do :

  • Artistic workshops (ceramics, music, theatre…)
  • Sports
  • Agriculture and gardening
  • Recreational activities (games, walks, visits…)
  • Daily life activities (watching a film, having a chat, playing cards…)

    Volunteers will work 35 hours per week on assigned tasks, with two consecutive free days per week (not necessarily Saturday and Sunday). These hours include monthly meetings and the possibility of individual interviews, meetings with the mentor, that evaluates the volunteers’ project, satisfaction and learning process. Volunteers will also attend an Italian language course held by local volunteers for 2 hours a week.

    Apply if you are:

  • 18-30 years old citizens living in EU member countries
  • Available for the whole duration of the project
  • Careful and respectful towards people with disabilities
  • Proactive, with sense of initiative to suggest new activities, workshops or simple ways to spend time together
  • In order to protect the people with disabilities hosted in the structure, volunteers must be already vaccinated for COVID-19
  • Ready to live in an intercultural context in a suburban area
  • Basic level in English and, possibly, Italian
  • Eager to learn Italian to communicate with people with disabilities
  • Past experiences with people with disabilities and related studies (psychology, sociology…) are welcome but not necessary
  • For the specific nature of the project, and in order to keep the people with disabilities safe, volunteers must not have mental health issues, infectious diseases or criminal records. We will ask for a health certificate and criminal records.

    Logistics and support

  • Food will be bought by volunteers with a food allowance of 6 euros per day, given monthly, and cooked autonomously in their house kitchen
  • Accommodation will be in one of the houses of the Community, in rooms shared with other volunteers of the same gender. The house is equipped
  • with kitchen, bathrooms, toilets, wi-fi, and washing machine
  • Pocket money of 6 euros per day, given monthly
  • Health insurance (www.henner.com)

    Obligatory pre-departure to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
    Come in person to learn about Smokinya, ESC, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
    Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

    COST AND FEES
    This project is funded by the ESC program: accommodation, food, materials, the program and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.

    Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 395EUR per person.

    Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
    We ask a contribution of 30 EUR from all confirmed applicants.
    Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
