Andrey’s Final Evaluation

Hello, my name is Andrey and my time with Smokinya is coming to an end. The decision of coming to a small village, to try a new way of life, came from getting out of high school and being really confused by what to do after. Flying into a new country and expecting to learn new things got me really into thinking that I could gain some independence and experience that would help me in future situations. After 5 months I can say I’ve learned a lot with this experience by spending my time in a small village.

From cutting wood and digging holes to helping the community and doing website posts, I can say that this time in my life has helped me develop many new hard skills and improve a lot of soft skills, not even talking about what I developed in my free-time!
Having a lot of time and not having much to do in such a small village, I explored a lot of regional natural places and other structures nearby Mrachenik. I also improved a lot my guitar and musical skills by studying when I had time to.

Meeting new people from different countries has taught me a lot about different cultures and different beliefs. I am forever grateful for this experience and hope that more people can find it as well.

Adeus e obrigado!
