Shortly, Training Course in Kalna Zagari consists learning coaching techniques, connecting in appropriate way with local LGBTQIA+ youth and working on group – and self-development.

After that you’re supposed to go back to your country and to put in action your gained experience for the future evaluation process during Capacity Building & Evaluation Meeting in Riga. Then you will measure your results, promote and organize The European “Elevate YOUth Work” conference.

This program fits you if you are:

  • 22-40 years old
  • a youth leader \ mentor \ coordinator etc. willing to work with LGBTQIA+
  • ready to take part in all phases, challenge yourself and work at home with your target groups
  • able to communicate in simple English

Obligatory pre-departure meeting: date, time, place – to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees. Travel costs are fully reimbursed in case of sending documentational proofs by email.

Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 255 € per person for the Training Course | 360 € per person for the Capacity Building & Evaluation Meeting.
Participation donation: 50 EUR given in cash upon arrival at registration in place. This amount is an investment in your learning and supports the hosting organization’s local activities.

Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 20 EUR /40 leva/ from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
