“Steps for leaders” is a 9 days training course for those, already leading either groups or volunteers,
who want to improve their performance, based upon the principles of self-awareness, resourcefulness and accountability. The main methodology used will be personal development or self-reflection.
The training is here for you to :
1. Reflect on what leadership means for you, by focusing on your mindset: attitudes, values and beliefs,
2. Realize how your mindset influences your behaviors, the results you get and the relationships you have with other people in your working context,
3. Acquire models and tools to align yourself with your core values, while being more inclusive towards others and unexpected situations,
4. Put your experience into practice and exchange best practices with other participants.
IMPORTANT
Obligatory pre-departure meeting – to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

This is learning program funded by Erasmus+ programme.
That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 275 EUR per person.
Participation donation: 60 EUR given in cash upon arrival at registration in place. This amount is an investment in your learning and supports the hosting organization’s local activities.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 20 EUR /40 leva/ from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
