Има нова възможност за дългосрочно доброволчество по програма ESC. Двама доброволци ще заминат за френскоговорящата част на Белгия, по-конкретно за град Рошфор, за да помагат на НПО Accuiel Famenne.
Accueil Famenne е организация с нестопанска цел, чиято социална цел е да приема, съпътства и подкрепя хора, чиито основни нужди са задоволени в малка степен или изобщо не са задоволени, без разлика в произхода или вярванията им. Тя има за цел да насърчава братството, солидарността, равенството и социалната справедливост в Рошфор и околностите му.
Търсят се доброволци, които отговарят на следните изисквания:
- На възраст между 18 и 30 години.
- Мотивирани да се включат в нашия проект.
- Искрено заинтересовани от нашите дейности.
- Заинтересовани да изучават френски език (за по-добро взаимодействие с бенефициентите).
- Желаещи да откриват и да учат, отворени към нови неща.
- Желаещи да работят с ръцете си в социална среда.
- Желаещи да споделят идеи и творчество.
- Чувствителни към личния живот и интимността на хората, които живеят в приемния център „L’Élan“
- Преди заминаването да поддържат връзка с подкрепяща/изпращаща организация, за да получат информация и да се подготвят

Accueil Famenne има три основни направления:
-Приемно място „L’élan“ за семейства с един родител и изолирани и финансово затруднени хора
-Хранителна банка за хора от Рошфор и околностите, изпитващи финансови затруднения
-Магазин за употребявани стоки „Li Gurnî“, който работи според принципите на кръговата икономика; предлага достъпни артикули за дома, като приходите от продажбите се използват за финансова подкрепа на двете основни оси.
В рамките на тези оси задачите на доброволците са следните:
В мястото за настаняване има зеленчукова градина, която в момента е малко занемарена. Ще ви бъде поискано да я възстановите:
- Помислете кои зеленчуци да засадите и в какво количество, въз основа на предпочитанията на жителите.
- Озеленяване на терена: изграждане на пейки от палети, зона за пикник, създаване на пътеки, конструкции за катерливи растения, засаждане на живи плетове или дървета и др.
- Засяване, засаждане, поддържане и събиране на реколтата от различни зеленчуци.
В магазина за употребявани стоки вашите задачи като доброволец ще бъдат да реновирате, персонализирате и преработвате употребявани мебели:
- Помощ при събирането на дарени мебели;
- Вдъхновение и проучване на дизайна;
- Ремонт на всякакви повреди по мебелите;
- Шлифоване, отстраняване на стари бои или пясъкоструене;
- Персонализиране: декорация, боядисване, багрене, декупаж, подмяна на хардуер и др.; евентуално,
пълно преобразуване на мебелите в нещо друго.
И за да помогне на служителите на магазина:
- Помощ при сортирането на даренията според вида на предметите (дрехи, съдове, електроника, декоративни предмети и др.);
- Подреждане на рафтове и работа по представянето на предметите;
- Оказване на съдействие при организирането на специални събития (например, размяна на дрехи).
Службата за хранителна помощ предоставя подкрепа на част от населението на Рошфор. Разпределянето на хранителни пакети се управлява от местни доброволци два пъти седмично.
Вашите задачи като доброволец ще бъдат да подпомагате доброволците, занимаващи се с хранителна помощ:
- Помощ при събирането на непродадени продукти: два пъти седмично местни доброволци посещават местни супермаркети и пекарни, за да съберат непродадените продукти. Вие ще ги придружавате в тази задача.
- Помощ при подготовката на пакети: два пъти седмично местни доброволци подготвят пакетите за раздаване. И тук ще им помагате.
- Помощ при разпределянето на пакети с храна във вторник и петък сутрин;
- Подкрепа по време на „кафе-рецепции“ и семинари за повишаване на осведомеността, организирани от социалния работник на службата с цел изграждане на доверие с бенефициентите.
- В зависимост от желанията на доброволците, те могат да организират семинари по готвене за бенефициентите, за да ги запознаят с тяхната култура или да повишат осведомеността им относно алтернативни диети.

Hey all!
A new ESC long-term volunteering opportunity is available. 2 volunteers will go to the French-speaking part of Belgium, specifically the town, Rochefort, to assist the NGO Accuiel Famenne.
Accueil Famenne is a non-profit organisation whose social aim is to welcome, accompany, and support people whose basic needs are barely or not met, without any distinction of origins or beliefs. It aims to promote fraternity, solidarity, equality and social justice in Rochefort and its surroundings.
They are looking for volunteers that fit into this description:
- Aged 18-30 years old
- Motivated to join our project
- Sincere interest for our activities
- Interested in learning french (for better interaction with the beneficiaries)
- Willing to discover and to learn, open minded to try new things
- Willing to work with your hands in a social setting
- Willing to share ideas and creativity
- Sensitive to the privacy and intimacy of the people living in the hosting venue “L’Élan”
- Before departure, being in contact with a support/sending organisation to receive information and preparation
> Smokinya will act as your sending organistation - Project open to everyone, regardless of their nationality, religion, believes, diploma, or professional experience
- Able to give copy of your criminal record before starting the activity
Accueil Famenne has three main axis:
– A hosting venue “L’élan“ for single-parent families and isolated and financially disadvantaged people
– A food bank for people of Rochefort and surrounding facing financial difficulties
– A second hand shop “Li Gurnî“ working according to circular economy principles; providing affordable house items, whose benefits goes to financially support to two first axis.
Within these axis, the volunteers’ tasks are as follows:
At the hosting venue, there is a vegetable garden, currently a bit abandoned. You will be asked to rehabilitate it:
- Think about which vegetables to plant and how much, based on the residents’ preferences.
- Landscaping the site: building pallet benches, a picnic area, creating paths, structures for climbing plants, planting hedges or trees, etc.
- Sowing, planting, maintaining, and harvesting various vegetables.
At the second hand shop your tasks as a volunteer will be to renovate, customize and upcycle second-hand furniture :
- Assistance with collecting donated furniture;
- Inspiration and design research;
- Repair of any damage to the furniture;
- Sanding, stripping, or air blasting;
- Customization: decoration, painting, tie-dye, decoupage, replacement of hardware, etc.; possibly,
complete repurposing of the furniture to make something else.
And to help the employees of the shop :
- Help sorting donations according to item type (clothing, tableware, electronics, decorative items, etc.);
- Arranging shelves and working on item presentation;
- Providing support during the organization of special events (e.g., clothing swaps).
The food aid service provides support to part of the population of Rochefort. The distribution of food parcels is managed by local volunteers twice a week.
Your tasks as a volunteer will be to support the food aid volunteers :
- Assistance with collecting unsold items: twice a week, local volunteers visits local supermarkets and bakeries to collect unsold items. You will accompany them in this task.
- Assistance with preparing packages: twice a week, local volunteers prepare the packages to be distributed. Here too, you will assist them.
- Help with distributing food packages on Tuesday and Friday mornings;
- Support during “coffee receptions” and awareness workshops, organized by the service’s social worker in order to build a relationship of trust with beneficiaries
- Depending on the volunteers’ wishes, it would be possible for them to organize cooking workshops to offer to beneficiaries in order to introduce them to their culture, or to raise awareness on alternative diets.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Average travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 300 EUR per person.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 30 EUR from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
