Description:
The activities of Caritas Diocesana di Patti are carried out in order to achieve the organisation’s objectives, which are to promote volunteering and to support people with fewer opportunities. Volunteers will be involved in solidarity activities (such as food distribution, clothing distribution and the organisation of solidarity events), in orientation and support activities for young people and in the management of a meeting place. Volunteers can make it possible to provide direct and continuous support for the activities, while at the same time promoting a culture of active participation and solidarity.
Participant profile:
We are looking for volunteers aged between 20-30 years old with previous experiences in participating in workcamps, volunteering activities in country and abroad, with a strong interest in the youth sector, in promoting youth participation, volunteering and social inclusion, interested and motivated to use non formal education methods. Skills in communication to young people and working in a team. Previous international volunteering experience and driving licence is welcome.

Associazione InformaGiovani organises activities such as information sessions, training courses and seminars on EU programmes, international workcamps, youth exchanges and volunteering teams. Volunteers will assist in the ONLINE PLACEMENT of Italian and foreign volunteers, MANAGE INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER PROJECTS as campleaders, PREPARE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY PROGRAMMES (logistics, agendas,..), perform ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS, create and run WORKCAMPS using non-formal methods. They will also take part in information sessions at the University of Palermo and in schools as Eurodesk representatives, while carrying out a PERSONAL PROJECT during their mobility.
Participant profile:
We are looking for volunteers aged between 21-30 years old with previous experiences in participating in workcamps, volunteering activities in country and abroad, with a strong interest in the youth sector, in discovering NGO-life inside and outside the office, in promoting youth participation, volunteerism and social inclusion, interested and motivated to use non formal education methods. Very good skills in using office management software, including Excell, Word, Adobe platform, etc. Previous international volunteering experience is welcome.

Description:
The San Giovanni Apostolo Youth Centre in Palermo works with children, young people and families in a suburban area. Volunteers help with recreational activities, including after-school support (homework help, English or French language workshops using non-formal methods), creative workshops (guitar, dance, drama, drawing) and sports activities such as football (training, accompanying young people to tournaments, supporting matches). Volunteers are also encouraged to develop a personal project.
Participant profile:
– age between 18 and 30 years
– strong motivation for working with kids
– flexibility and adaptability to different contexts
– ability to team working
– ability to implement sport activities (sport education)
– creativity and artistic skills (e.g. music, painting, drawing)
– good language skills (at least A1 in Italian and B1 in English)
