Hello there!
My name is Emilia, I came from Poland. I participate in Future 3.0 – Environment, Community, Technology project.
I’ve always been interested in other cultures. When I was a child, my grandfather used to read me books about distant countries and we watched documentaries together. As languages are the key to exploring the world I started to learn English, French and Spanish. Several years later this interest resulted in applied linguistic diploma. I’m a fan of forms of traveling that let me blend with local community, like hitchhiking, working or volunteering abroad.
Volunteering is quite important for me. I see a lot of problems in our world and I’m looking for ways to create at least a small change. I believe that thanks to Smokinya Foundation I can learn a bit how the organization works, but also have a positive impact on Bulgarian community and other volunteers.
