This is a learning program. It requires full focus and participation.
Travel reimbursement is only sent to those who fully participate in all phases, including the follow-up and dissemination.
From the beginning of 2024 the organisation Zagor are going to host two international volunteers, in two different positions. Zagor leads a youth centre, volunteer centre and information centre for young people and all interested citizens. They organize many activities, events, workshops, public actions and debates to strengthen the capacity of young people and to promote active citizenship. 1. “Solidarity through a digital view”
Through participation in the project volunteer will contribute to the development of a solidarity community. Activities of this project will focus on use of digital technology, which means that the volunteer will gain some skills and knowledge of using digital equipment. The use of cameras and digital cameras on a daily basis during almost all activities will require a basic knowledge of the use of the equipment, but most of all, a desire to further improve the use of technology.
Their activities will include organising shooting and photographing workshops, volunteer actions and other public events of the association and its partner organizations, making posters, flyers, GIFs, making videos to promote the association, working with young people, local communities, conducting interviews with young people about various topics, participating on volunteer actions, intercultural events and game nights.

2. “Digital creativity”
The volunteer, through his/her creativity, will contribute to the local community by participating and carrying out activities that are aimed at encouraging active participation of local society, which leads to the development of a more solidary community
Their activities will include writing articles, writing creative posts, participating on workshops in high schools and with young people on the subject of the project, participating on volunteer actions, intercultural events, art colony, game night, editing short promotional videos about volunteer service, help with online magazine for youth, creating podcasts, etc. Also participating in traditional activities such as the Fair of associations, which is organized annually and in the event “Croatia Volunteers”.

Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by European Solidarity Corps programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 275 EUR per person.
