Connecting Difference is a training course bringing together 30 educators, NGO workers, youth workers, and peacemakers from 7 countries – Czech Republic, Ukraine, Romania, Spain, Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece. Its purpose is to offer the method of empathic communication developed by Marshall Rosenberg together with other methods.The communication we want to grow through this project is based on connecting to other ́ s needs and expressing one’s own. The idea behind is to review and to improve the connection and understanding in our personal relationships, communities, and countries.

Obligatory pre-departure meeting: date, time, place – to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

This project is for you if
– You are older than 22
– You are able to work in English
– You are motivated
– You are a youth worker, NGO staff or representative of formal education
– You want to improve your personal and professional competences and work on your communication skills

This is learning program funded by Erasmus+ programme.
That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: 275 EUR per person.
Participation donation: 60 EUR given in cash upon arrival at registration in place. This amount is an investment in your learning and supports the hosting organization’s local activities.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 20 EUR /40 leva/ from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
