Expanding Routes, Study visit for youth workers – meeting special communities

Purpose:

  • to improve the skills of individual youth workers and through their contribution develop communities and organisations dedicated to young people all over Europe
  • to get inspiration and practical tools from two communities in Israel
  • to create a forum where the participating youth workers can share their experiences with each other and the members of the communities they visit
  • to start to look for new answers on some of the problems our societies face: youth unemployment, dis-functioning rural communities, inclusion of less-opportunity groups in society

This programme is for you if you are:

  • a person working with teenagers or young adults (aged 16-25) in some way of non-formal education
  • willing to implement your knowledge back home, and preferably have a concrete project to practice with
  • active member of an NGO or informal group of young people
  • you are aged 20+ (there is no upper age limit)
  • preferably interested in participating in the further actions and phases of the project
  • if you live in: Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Israel or the Netherlands

    This is educational mobility funded by Erasmus+ programme.
    That requires commitment. Commitment before, during and after the project.
    Unlike many other Erasmu+ project, this program is intensive and challenging.
    The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.
    Get to know all provided information in the info letter before you submit your application form.
    Apply only when you are sure that program is for you and you are available on the listed project dates.
    General applications are disregarded.

    Participation contribution: 60 EUR paid in cash upon arrival at registration in Neot Semadar
    We ask you for a small contribution of 13 EUR (25 leva) for Smokinya Foundation which covers some administrative and organizational expenses. This amount is NON-REIMBURSABLE.
