About the projects and the organisation

The town twinning association of Nouvelle-Aquitaine (Association des Communes Jumelées de Nouvelle-Aquitaine in French – ACJNA) is looking for one volunteer for one volunteering project in France, within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps programme of the European Union.

Volunteering

During the volunteering service, the participant will be involved in the daily activities of the youth centre and will be, provided opportunities for initiatives and collaboration with associated partners in the hosting community. The participant will be able to co-create their own volunteering journey and contribute with their own ideas and skills.

Requirements
– Age: 18-30 year-old volunteer
– Resident in EU countries, Iceland or Norway
– No special certification, diploma or professional experience perience are required
– Being spontaneous, open-minded and be ready to have challenges
– Eager to learn and contribute actively to the association activities and development
– Being ready to live in an urban area from 210 000 inhabitants
– Having interests in the field of twinning, interculturalism, mobility and youth
– Basic notions of French would be more convenient for the project (or will to learn and speak French during the mobility period)
