Internships
As you know, in Smokinya Foundation we work with international volunteers in order to help youth to find European opportunity and now, we are looking for young people who want to get new working experience as an intern in an interesting environment by making their first step to a career of their dream! If you join us, you will be introduced to the organisation and will be trained how we work. You will be supervised and mentored in a way to set your own goals and learn, practice, develop and master some important life skills and competencies; team work, cooperation, learning to learn, time management, communication and coaching skills, project initiation from A to Z and much more! Youth Guide Training Course - Final reflexion
Spending ten days living with new people is always an experience, but sharing ten days with young people from six different countries is the beginning of a new life. This is what we have done in Smokinya Foundation during the month of September, coordinating and organising a great Erasmus+ project in the beautiful and ancient city of Plovdiv which, we can say, was an absolute success. Designed to give our international participants a new and challenging perspective on themselves, personally and professionally, it has been a profound process also for our team, which has seen participants change their attitudes towards life, work and relationships in a period full of intense activities designed to develop their critical thinking while releasing hidden emotions. There are no words to explain it, but we have tried to summarise this experience in our new web article. Do not forget to check it out, but be careful, you might feel a strong desire to join us next time after this!

A colourful reenovation
In Smokinya Foundation we strongly defend the courage to go after your dreams regardless of what the rest of the world thinks about it; if you have a goal, get to work on it to make it come true. In this sense, we have considered renovating the image of the historic building where our office is located, so despite our lack of previous experience, we decided to take a risk and make a change! Thanks to the creativity and support of our international team of volunteers, as well as our long-time friends and supporters the result could not have been better, as it reflects our common commitment and shared values with the European Union and the United Nations. Of course, it was not easy, and we had to delete and restart the process several times until we finally achieved the desired ideas, but it was absolutely worth it. Are you curious? Sharing good vibes, spreading our work
As a youth NGO focused on international mobility and as Eurodesk multiplier, in Smokinya Foundation we work hard 365 days a year to be able to offer you as many opportunities as possible throughout Europe. In addition, we coordinate various weekly and monthly activities, from workshops, linguistic coffees and non-formal education games to clean-up events with the aim of providing you with a safe environment where you can develop your skills, both personal and professional, taking advantage of our resources and the expertise of the international team. However, all this work would be meaningless without people to share it with. That is why our motivated volunteers have been walking the streets and official institutions around Plovdiv to promote who we are, what we do and, in particular, what we can offer you. You may have seen them, so next time do not be shy and ask them how to collaborate with us. They will not bite you!

October 2022
A new course is starting and with it many changes are coming, but that does not mean it is bad at all! When a door closes, a new window always opens and that is the philosophy we have in Smokinya Foundation. Thereby, do not worry too much about the start of the new academic year, we have a lot of creative activities and exciting opportunities ready to make your October cooler than ever.
