This month, April 25th was the anniversary of Smokinya Foundation!
This was an opportunity for us to look back on the achievements of Smokinya Foundation over the past 5 years.

On April 23rd, Smokinya team invited its friends and previous volunteers to celebrate the past events, the training given, the projects accomplished and also to present the association to the people who came to support us.

Between presentations, discussions, drinks, and especially the cake, the evening was a success! Thanks to the support of the many people who came to spend an excellent evening with the whole team of Smokinya Foundation!

New episode of Smokinya Show is out!

The third episode of Smokinya Show is about the importance of communities around us. Vladan talks with Vladimir from bike club Kriva Spitza about difficulties, problems, and challenges and how a good community can solve all of them.

Risk Taking - morning event
A short morning event with a theme and a light program - with a coffee or tea. Taking risks is a natural human behavior - some people do it more, others less - and others avoid it completely (which is quite risky!). Let's have a morning coffee and discuss what risks we have taken and are taking on a daily basis.

Catch Your Moment

We are planning to implement this training course in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in July 2021. This is an international training where we will use improvisational theatre techniques to improve entrepreneurial skills, such as taking risks, flexibility, communication, making decisions, etc. For more info follow our website and social media!

Learning opportunities

As the pandemic situation seems to get lighter we and our partners are planning to implement training courses and youth exchanges that could not happen last year. Smokinya events

Smokinya Foundation is continuing KineDok screening, we had 2 screenings before lockdown in 2020 which was very popular and interesting. We decided to continue documentary screening and we had one in April 2021 and it will be in every month.

KineDok is an international community, a unique film club and an alternative distribution platform. In Plovdiv we are host organization which has KineDok screening. We have discussions after screenings, where everyone can share their impressions about the movie.

If you love documentary movies and would like to watch and discuss with other people we are waiting for you next screening in “Cafe Peyka” which will be in 26 of May at 17:00
