Volunteering in eldery home | Italy, Bolzano

Доброволците ще имат възможност да участват в паралелни дейности заедно с други доброволци, настанени в други приемащи организации, координирани от InCo. Темата на паралелните дейности ще варира в зависимост от проекта. (Създаване на игри, организиране на събития, изложби и др.)

Изисквания за участие
Трябва да сте на възраст между 18 и 30 години.
Не се изисква предишен опит или обучение, за да станете доброволец и да извършвате дейностите си в ASSB. Просто бъдете любознателни, с отворено съзнание и силно мотивирани!

Храна и настаняване
Ще получите безплатно настаняване за целия период на доброволческата ви дейност. Ще живеете в единична или двойна стая с обща баня, перално помещение и напълно оборудвана кухня с уреди за готвене. Ще споделяте апартамента с други доброволци, но никога с възрастните хора. Всъщност, ако стаята се намира в дома за възрастни хора „Вила Серена“ (близо до центъра на града и река Талвера), тя е на последния етаж, напълно отделена от етажите, където са настанени възрастните хора и се провеждат дейностите.

През работните дни ще обядвате в столовата на дома за възрастни хора / центъра за хора с увреждания, където работите заедно с персонала. За останалите хранения и през уикендите (или почивните дни, ако решите да останете в Болцано), имате възможност да се храните в столовата на дома за възрастни хора, където живеете. Във всеки случай ще получавате помощ за храна, за да покриете разходите, свързани с вечерята, празниците и уикендите.

Джобните пари, съгласно стандартите на ESC в Италия, са 180 евро на месец (6 евро на ден).

Proposed activities for the volunteer/s
Volunteers will collaborate with the staff of nursing homes mainly with recreational and entertainment activities planned for the elderly.
In particular volunteers will be involved in the following activities:

Volunteers will have the opportunity to be involved in parallel activities together with other volunteers hosted in other receiving organizations coordinated by InCo. The topic of the parallel activities will change according to the project. (Making games, organizing events, exhibitions, etc.)

Requirements to participate
You need to be aged between 18 and 30 years old.
You don’t need any previous experience or training in order to become a volunteer and carry on your activities in ASSB. Just be curious, open-minded and highly motivated!

Food and accommodation
You will get free accommodation for the whole duration of your voluntary service. You will live in a single or double room with shared bathroom, laundry facilities and a fully equipped kitchen with cooking facilities. You will share the apartment with other volunteers, never with the elderly. Indeed, if the room is inside the nursing home “Villa Serena” (close to the city center and the Talvera river), it is at the last floor totally separated from the floors where elderlies are hosted and doing activities.

During working days, you will eat your lunch in the canteen of the elderly home / disabled people centre where you work together with the staff. The other meals and during the weekends (or free days if you decide to stay in Bolzano), you have the possibility to eat in the canteen of the nursing home where you live. In any case you will receive a food allowance to cover the expenses linked to meal for dinner, holidays and weekend.

Pocket money, according to the ESC guide standards in Italy are 180 euro per months (6 euro per day).

Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by the ESC program: accommodation, food, materials, the program and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.

Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: full reimbursement per person.

Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 30 EUR from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
