AWO Landesverband Bremen e.V. е призната централна организация за доброволческа социална дейност. Нейната цел е да изгради устойчива социална политика, която допринася за превенцията и борбата срещу социалното изключване. „Nachbarschaftshaus Helene Kaisen“ (na‘) Бремен (Общностен център)
Общностният център „Nachbarschaftshaus“ се намира в оживен квартал в град Бремен. Той има дълга история в областта на социалната и културната интеграция и се отличава с разнообразно предложение от дейности, консултантски услуги и подкрепа за други маргинализирани групи. Неговата цел е да бъде място за контакт за всеки, независимо от неговия произход.

Младежки център „AWO“ в Бурглезум и Младежки дом „AWO“ във Вегезак, Бремен
Младежкият център „AWO“ в Бурглезум е важен център за контакт с младите хора от квартал Бурглезум и околностите. В съседните квартали Бургдам, Лезум и Грамбке съществуват големи социални неравенства, а младежите, които ни посещават, са много разнообразни по отношение на възраст, семейна среда и образователен произход.
Фокусът на нашата работа е върху образователни предложения за свободното време, както и върху междукултурна дейност и интеграционна работа по време на т.нар. „отворени врати“. В този контекст се предлагат специфични за пола дейности, спортни и физически занимания, музикални и творчески дейности, както и пътувания и екскурзии. За нас е важно посетителите да участват в планирането и разработването на тези предложения.
По-голямата част от работата се извършва следобед и вечер.

Координационен офис на младежкия отдел на AWO
Младежкият отдел на AWO Бремен отговаря за осем центъра за свободно време за младежи и три групи за настаняване. С общо 100 колеги, работещи на пълно работно време, ние се грижим и съпътстваме младежи на възраст между 10 и 21 години на различни места в Бремен. Всички организационни дейности се обединяват в координационния офис в централния офис. Оттук кандидатстваме за финансиране, извършваме административна дейност и поддържаме контакти, както и предоставяме професионални насоки на ръководителите на центровете.
Доброволците по програмата „Европейски доброволчески корпус“ (ESC) работят предимно в областта на международния обмен.

Офисна работа (изготвяне на обяви, Instagram, копиране и др.)
Приемният център на AWO за непълнолетни бежанци „Haus Hopa“
От 2023 г. центърът „Haus Hopa“ предлага 15 места за млади бежанци в модерна и уютна атмосфера. Всички младежи разполагат със собствени стаи – те готвят и се хранят заедно, с подкрепата на домакинята и педагогическия персонал. Освен че организират съвместния ежедневен живот и оказват подкрепа при справянето с ежедневните предизвикателства, нашите специалисти организират развлекателни дейности, екскурзии и възможности за участие на обитателите. Нашата цел е да насърчим тяхната самостоятелност.

AWO Girls*Club „Lilas Pause“
Мястото за срещи на момичетата* „Lilas Pause“ е единственото отворено място за срещи, предназначено само за момичета*, в северната част на Бремен и важен център за контакт за момичета* на възраст 10–21 години от квартал Вегезак и отвъд него. Младите момичета*, които ни посещават, са много разнообразни по отношение на възраст, семейна среда и образователен произход.
Изписваме „момичета*“ със звездичка (*), за да стане ясно, че имаме предвид наистина ВСИЧКИ момичета*, независимо от религия, националност или сексуална ориентация. Момичета* с и без увреждания също са много добре дошли.
Основният акцент в нашата работа е върху развлекателни дейности, както и върху междукултурна и интеграционна работа по време на отворените часове.

The organisation
The AWO Landesverband Bremen e.V. is an approved central organisation of voluntary welfare. Their aim is to establish sustainable social politics that add to the prevention of and the fight against social exclusion. In the light of the organisation’s historical background as part of the working class movement the lived values of solidarity, tolerance, freedom, equality and justice provide the basis for their actions.Their objectives for the European Solidarity Corps programme are to provide the opportunity for young adults – irrespective of their financial situation, their religion, their gender or generally their origin – in Europe to have a learning experience that enforces their intercultural competences and democratic understanding during their long term voluntary stay.

Nachbarschaftshaus Helene Kaisen (na‘) Bremen (Community Center)
The neighbourhood center „Nachbarschaftshaus“ is located in a lively neighbourhood in the city of Bremen. It has a long history of social and cultural integration and is characerized by a diverse offer of activities, consulting services and other marginalized groups. Its claim is to be a contact point for eyeryone, regardless of a person’s background.
Your Profile:

AWO Youth Centre Burglesum and AWO Youth House Vegesack, Bremen
The AWO Youth Center Burglesum is an important point of contact for young people from the Burglesum district and beyond. There are great social inequalities in the surrounding districts of Burgdamm, Lesum and Grambke, and the young people who come to us are very diverse in terms of age, families of origin and educational background.
The focus of our work is leisure-time educational offers as well as intercultural work and integration work during the so called “open door”. In this context there are gender-specific offers, sports and exercise offers, music and creative offers as well as trips and excursions. The participation of the visitors in the planning and development of these offers is important to us.
Most of the work takes place in the afternoons and evenings.

AWO Youth Department Coordination Office
The Youth Department at AWO Bremen is responsible for eight youth leisure facilities and three residential groups. With a total of 100 full-time colleagues, we care for and accompany young people between the ages of 10-21 at various locations in Bremen. All organisational threads come together in the coordination office at the head office. From here, we apply for funds, do administration and networking and provide professional guidance to the directors of the facilities.
The ESC volunteers mainly operate in the filed of international exchange.

AWO Home for Minor Refugees „Haus Hopa“
Since 2023, the facility „Haus Hopa“ offers 15 places for young refugees in a modern and homely atmosphere. All the young people have their own rooms – they cook and eat together, with the support of the housekeeper and the educational staff. In addition to organising everyday life together and providing support with daily challenges, our professionals organise leisure activities, excursions and opportunities for participation for the residents. Our goal is to promote their independence.

AWO Girls*Club „Lilas Pause“
The girls*’ meeting place Lilas Pause is the only open meeting place just for girls* in the north of Bremen and an important contact point for girls* aged 10-21 from the Vegesack district and beyond. The young girls* who come to us are very diverse in terms of age, families of origin and educational background.
We write girls* with * to make it clear that we really mean ALL girls*, regardless of religion, nationality or sexual orientation. Girls* with and without disabilities are also very welcome.
The main focus of our work is on recreational activities as well as intercultural and integration work during the open house.

This project is funded by the ESC program: accommodation, food, materials, the program and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Maximum travel reimbursement for Bulgarians: number EUR per person.
Participation donation: number EUR given in cash upon arrival at registration in place. This amount is an investment in your learning and supports the hosting organization’s local activities.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 30 EUR from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
