Hello! Our project Rural Future is coming to its end. Since February 2025, we hosted 7 young people in Mrachenik, rural village in the Sredna Gora region. All working together to renovate an old school into a volunteering and training center while connecting with rural life and locals.
This year, we opened our new project, Wild Vibes. We are now opened to application for this project, co-funded by the EU.
If you like what you see, you can apply HERE.

We will cover weekly progress through the so-called “Weekly Recaps”. Here we will give a brief overview of what is happening in this little village called Mrachenik and report on our experiences.

Hello!
This week has been very busy, with manual labour such as cleaning around Mrachenik, removing old plaster from the school walls and a lot of computer work. Like every Wednesday, we go and ask the locals if they need a hand, but they often welcome us in for a cup of tea or coffee.
This week we were hosted by Petra, who told us about her work as a psychologist and also promised to teach us how to give massages.

During the week, the weather changed several times. Sun, fog, cold and rain kept us company during these days, but obviously nothing can stop us!
Whatever the weather, we have tasks to complete, and doing them under different skies fascinates us every time.
On Friday evening, Victoria prepared tacos for all of us, a dinner that was different from the usual but brought everyone together because it was so delicious.
Thats it for this week, stay around for more updates about our journey in this village!
